When she kissed me it was soft and sweet. I felt a sort of spark inside me going crazy but I didn't want to admit whatever was surrounding us. But when she said "kiss me and you'll feel it, Percy.", I did.

This time it wasn't her kissing me, it was me kissing her. And what started off as a small sweet kiss turned into something more. NOT in that way of course! Her stunning blue eyes stared into mine. But I smelled the sweet fragrance of grapes which didn't surprise me as she once was a goddess. And the gods and goddesses sure like their grapes and different sorts of fruits.

But something about the smell of grapes on her was different in ways. But I was too focused on the smell and the kissing, that I didn't even get a glimpse of her face to see the aesthetic expression on her face as we kissed. But soon this would come to bite me like a snake.

As a great sob was heard I'm quickly stopped and looked over to see Annabeth. The heartbreak in her eyes killed me and the tears that raced down her soft tanned skin. I'm quick to try and say something but the words don't exactly come out. When I tried again, but it was too late Annabeth was off. Nico just looked at me with disgust and soon followed her back to the camp.

"That was dramatic," Melione scoffed. Dramatic did she say? How on earth can anybody in this situation not be dramatic? I basically did the worst thing possible in a relationship, I cheated. I ran after Annabeth, calling her name. When she didn't answer, I followed her footprints until they disappeared. Then I realized that I was lost. I couldn't retrace my footsteps, because I didn't know which way they were.

"Annabeth?" I called out. Silence met my call. "Annabeth!" The silence remained. I continued to walk around the forest. I looked everywhere I could, but I couldn't find her, or my way back. I sat down on a fallen tree and put my head in my hands. I sat there for a while, just thinking everything over. The look on Annabeth's face, the hurt in her eyes, the look of disgust on Nico's face, and then Melione. She was... well, I don't know. I'd never thought of her as anything other than a friend, yet I let her kiss me. And I kissed her. I felt awful. Annabeth would never trust me again.

Heavy footsteps behind me managed to pull me out of my thoughts. "Annabeth?" I jumped up and turned around, hopefully. But No one was there. Sadly, I sat back down on the log, but then I heard her call out.

"Percy?" Annabeth called. "Percy? Where are you?" I looked in the direction she was calling me from, but I couldn't see her.

"Annabeth!" I started running towards her voice. "Annabeth!"

"Percy! Where are you? I can't find my way out of this forest!"

   "Annabeth! I-I'm so sorry. I wasn't thinking properly. I'm-"

"Percy, its ok. I forgive you." She cut in. Her voice seemed to be going farther away.

"Annabeth! Stay where you are, I'm coming!"

"Percy! Where are you?" She cried out. Her voice seemed to be getting closer, so I ran faster after her. She screamed loudly, then it was quiet. I could only hear my own footsteps. I slowed down, and looked around. Breathing heavily.

"Annabeth?" I called out. I drew riptide and crouched down, walking towards the place where Annabeth was calling out to me from. I came across a clearing but didn't walk out into it. Whatever made Annabeth scream like that may still be there. I stayed crouching in the bush until my legs hurt. I stood up and walked into the clearing. I did a full 360, but couldn't see anything. I was about to leave when I heard the sound of twigs snapping. I spun around and saw something moving in the tall grass. "Annabeth?" I called out. A low grunt, followed by a low growl was the reply.

As it stood up, I saw its big eye staring right at me. Its large hands were in fists, that could easily break one of my bones with a single punch. Its muscles flexed as he took a step towards me. I got riptide ready to strike, and then the cyclopes charged.
