I had strange dreams that night. I dreamt of a young boy who had black hair and wore black jeans and top. He had an iron black sword and he was pale like me. He looked a lot like my father. Wait. It's Nico! I met him once. OMG! HE has grown up fast (Or has the time gone past fast? Not sure. Anyway). He's really pale though. Like. Not normal pale. He was worn out. Like he just had to fight a monster. Maybe cause he did. He's in trouble.
My dream shifted. I saw a camp on a hill. Well, near a hill, there were twenty-five cabins there. Each one looked like some of the gods. Even one for Hades? Wow. Then again. Some boy said something about all the gods being honoured and the gods paying attention to their demigod children? I don't know. That's just what dad told me. Anyway. Something was going on. They were all gathered around a statue of Athena. Oh, it's been found! Looks like the Romans have returned the Athena. But why Athena? It's only Athena. She's not that important. Anyway, they headed off to the fireplace. Don't tell me they are gonna do a sing-along.
   They did a sing along.
It wasn't that bad. They sang songs about the gods. It was really sweet. Until I had to wake up. Everyone looked at me and said "Melonie. Wake up. You have to go to see dad. He wants to talk to you. Melonie. WAKE UP!"
It was Haden. Uh. I just wanted to sleep. But dad wanted me. Got to wake up now.
"Get out Haden!" I said as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I got a pillow and throw it at him.
"OK. But dad wants you." He said as he left.
I got dressed and went to see what dad wanted. Knowing him, he wants me to help Chiron take the ferry across the river. Anyway, when I went into the throne room, he didn't look pleased.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO GARRY?!?!?! WHY ISN'T HE AT HIS PUNISHMENT?!?!?!" He boomed. Hayden said that dad was cool with it, but he lied. He never lies to me. So why did he?
"Father, Haden took his punishment away as best he could. He said that you were fine with him being my own personal servant. I had no idea he hadn't told you. He is the one you should be blaming not me." I said. Still hurt.
"Don't lie to me. You know how I get when someone lies to me." Dad said trying to calm down. He put his hand on his sword and I didn't like it when he did that. "Now tell me again. What did you do?"
"Father, I'm telling the truth. I would never lie to you." I said, with a lump at the back of my throat. "Please, don't do this. Haden said you knew!"
"That's it!" He got his sword out and he, he cut me. His sword went right across my right eye. I couldn't speak. I couldn't think. I couldn't breathe. The pain was unbearable. So I left. I ran and I ran until I bumped into Haden. He saw what Dad had done to me and told me he was sorry. I didn't dare to listen to what he had to say. I just ran until I was out of the underworld. I could hear Haden calling me, but I could never trust him again. How could I? He was the reason I got a cut on my eye. Never again will I trust him. I ran until I could pull myself to fly. As I went off the ground the wind pushed me towards the empire state building. I let it take me to wherever it had to take me to.
