Chapter - 5 - Ria

"Yeah, so?? I did say and when did I say that I don't want to try love it's just that I hate the thought of love and one cannot deny that love is simple ruination. Love makes us do things that may destroy us. Of course, I want to try it but I am just scared of breaking down like all the others." Kayna replied. "Oh, so you want to try love, and then you hate the thought of love" Darshan defended his point but was interrupted by Kritika "Enough, guys stop fighting. We will talk about something else and Kayna stuck her tongue out teasing Darshan and claiming that she had won the argument, to which Darshan rolled his eyes. 

"So, Darshan, I have thought that we are going to ask Ria if she likes you or not and then you could go and confess. Is this okay?" asked Rohan breaking the ice. " Yeah Rohan, this idea of yours is great but I want it quick, because you know right? Valentine's day is just next month. So, it would be better if it's done quicker" Darshan said excitedly. "Yeah, well this work is going to be done by the girls because you know how bad I am at starting conversations," Rohan replied rubbing the back of his neck out of guilt. "Okay fine, we are great at this. Shall we go now" asked Kayna cheerfully. "Yes, let's go Kayna" replied Kritika.

Now, Ria was a super-wealthy girl and she was not beautiful but used to apply loads of makeup, which made her look beautiful.

As, Kayna and Kritika approached her, she was sitting in the middle surrounded by her friends, talking about the party they would have at her place tonight.

"Hey Ria, mind if we join you??" Kayna asked politely. "Of course, no problem. But your visit is just unexpected. What happened are you both not talking to the boys?" asked Ria, in her tone of insulting people. "Well we knew how useless were boys but today we did notice it?" said Kritika sitting down beside Kayna. "Well I always knew how stupid they were." Said Ria.  "Yeah, I guess you are right. But I think these guys are even worse. What do you think about them?" asked Kayna. "Well, honestly speaking I don't like Rohan, he is way too dramatic "replied Ria and Kayna boiled in anger and muttered under her breath, 'If you were not related to Darshan, I swear bitch, I would have killed you.' Kritika could sense the anger building up in Kayna and without even thinking for a moment she drove straight to the point "And what about Darshan? What do you think about him?" "Well, he is kinda nice. I even think I like him" said Ria who had changed her tone of speaking and was now speaking almost in whispers. "What!!" exclaimed Kayna. She was now jumping up and down with excitement. Well, Kayna was a very unpredictable girl, you would never get to know when she would change her mind and start doing things unexpectedly.

She ran from there to where the boys had been standing and talking. She immediately went and stood in front of them and said "Darsh........" "Darsh??" asked Darshan confused. "Yeah Darsh......listen" replied Kayna "Who is Darsh??" he asked still perplexed. "Oh God...it's you idiot....I thought of giving you a nickname" said Kayna winking at him. He was now smirking. " but you are not listening, the point is.....Ria likes you!!! Congratulations and celebrations" she began singing. "What?? Wow, congrats Darshan" exclaimed Rohan. By this time, Kritika had approached them and she too congratulated "Darshan, now you just have to impress her in your way and blurt out your feelings for her" said Kritika, and Darshan nodded his head.
