Well, I stayed around at the 'Raval's' for a bit and returned full, after having my lunch. It seemed little that we had lost connect, we were forever together and it felt as if our souls were attached even when we were miles apart. I believe this the real power of love.
Well, I woke up the next morning to my alarm ringing. Yes, I had set my alarm since I had to reach the airport, remember? No? Okay, actually I have to reach the airport to pick Rohan up, well of course, and surprise him. So, I thought why not tag Kritz and Darsh along and they happily agreed. So, apparently right now it is 8 am, well somewhat, because I am just stepping out of the washroom. I quickly hop in my wardrobe and get dressed. I grab my 'I-Phone' and leave the house, with lastly kissing mom on her cheek and hugging her. I was in the middle of also hugging dad, but then I heard someone honking on an empty street like mad. I knew it was supposed to be Darsh. I stepped out of the house and got into the car, next to Darsh.
"Why were you honking like idiots?", I questioned, since I utterly hate anything pestering, shrill and loud. (P.S. it also includes some old women, especially those fat Indian aunties, who have no better work than poking into others' life. Kayna winks to her readers*). "you weren't getting outside. So, you know..." he started saying but was cut by Kritz, "So? If she will not come, then you will pester her with the car honks? Bilkul no manners." Like literally, she said 'bilkul, no manners. I guess I am used to her speaking like this. "Haww, Kayna, she was the one who asked me honk and threatened me, that if I wouldn't honk this loud and continuous she would probably tell mamma, how I cheated in sixth standard" and he literally pouted. Whatever!! This sibling fight gets into my head from one ear and out from the other. I don't know how their parents tolerate them, but nevertheless, I absolutely will not tolerate this nuisance. "Oh keep quiet. Come on now, drive to the airport or we might miss it."
We drive to the airport. It was those fun drives that we all have experienced with our friends. Well, if you haven't you might later, but once in a lifetime we do a lot of things and one of them is a drive with friends, only and only friends. We had a drive that was tolerable, because honestly, at 8 in the morning, I was in no mood for drama. But, how can you avoid drama when you have Darsh and Kritz with you. They sang all the while and I cannot believe, but Kritz also danced wildly, sitting in the backseat of the car. I almost, the whole time stared out the window and I could feel Darsh's stare over me. I so wanted to ask him, that what was it with this sort of a behavior, because honestly, he was acting all weirdly since I arrived, or maybe 'since they got to know about my arrival' sounds appropriate. I so wanted to know about all of this, but I believe something, sometimes should be unsaid and kept as it is. To flow with the flow of life and live the moment we are in.
We got off the car and before even Darsh could manage to park his car, Kritz had already spotted Rohan, far away. We didn't even let Darsh park his car, about which he was absolutely, very, okay no, maybe a lot angry and we ran towards him. We were almost some feet away, when we saw him getting in a cab. Okay no, wait!! What the hell!!! We shouted his name like poor fan girls, behind their idols. I was hundred percent sure that he heard us, well stupid me, how is he going to know that we were here for him. Darsh had this absolutely crazy idea, so we followed it. The idea was to run behind Rohan's taxi and believe me, we literally ran behind his taxi. But, after running for a few minutes, I stopped and realized why are we even running when we have a car? We saw Rohan's taxi fading away in the distance and yet again I was unsuccessful and my 'surprise' had turned into a disaster. I honestly wanted to vow to the 'Constitution Of India', that never in my life was I ever, ever going to surprise anymore.
We got in the car and this time I sat beside Kritz and we let Kritz drive, because, if Darsh would have beside me or if he would have been sitting next to anyone of us, we would have literally eaten him alive, without even throwing away the bones. I sighed and once again stared out of the window. The drive was comfortable but silent. It felt like the unwanted peace, but yet peace, it was.
