Today is rained
Poured just a bit too
I heard the raindrops tip the windows
and somehow I felt the sad diminish
I love how the rain dances with the gravel
Moisturizing it at every beat
How it pours then it storms
All until it retreats
How the birds chirp
Waiting for it to pass over and go
How the trees shake
In gratitude of how much they drank
I always disliked the rainy days
Because you weren't here to be by my side
But now that you've left
I can finally enjoy the rainy days
Without the ache
