"If that's what you need"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I stood on the balcony and looked at the mess that had happened a sigh running through me, so much work to do, so much to repair, and not to mention that the rainbow council won't leave me alone. I never asked to be queen of Rainbow Valley, I never wanted it; I never thought I would have to rule, it was never supposed to be me. I thought it would always be my mom, and when the time came she would crown Frieda, and she would be queen. If there's one thing I know is that my mom never intended for me to be queen, it wasn't me she trained, it wasn't me who she'd always worry about. I may have been the oldest but in my mother's eyes it was Frieda who would wear the crown. I never minded though, I didn't want the responsibility of being queen; but when the rainbow war came and we lost, everything changed. With my mother dead and Frieda missing not to mention that she wouldn't be of age; I became queen. Everything my mom worked for, all the pieces of a carefully crafted puzzle destroyed, everything she prepared Frieda for gone; I don't even know if she remembers any of it, and I don't know if I want to ask. Jenifine watched the colors and saw the darkness in them the sight she found the most comfort in couldn't even help her now she thought as she sighed; Frieda had made more sacrifices for Rainbow Valley and the magic dimension then anyone could ever count. While here she couldn't even decide how to go about renovations, not to mention what to do about Linphea. Her sister was something else, a one of a kind, and Jenifine didn't envy her not even in the slightest, no her sister was who she was meant to be, and she was okay with that. The only piece of her mother's puzzle that didn't fit was the crown, Frieda should be queen yet I stand in her place; Jenifine shook her head she had to stop thinking of the impossible. Frieda couldn't become queen it was not possible she had asked, and was greeted with a firm no, not only was she underage but she was not the rightful heir. So Jenifine had to accept the role they were forcing her to play, and stepped up as queen and did what she had to do. Sophia, tell the rainbow council that they are banned from meeting with me until I get the renovations started and finished. And if there's any word on Frieda let me know immediately.
Yes you're majesty Sophia said curtsying and walking out of the room.
Frieda where ever you are Jenifine said, I just hope you're safe.
Lillian paced around her room in worry she wanted to find Frieda and help her, but how? An idea, a very risky idea on how to find Frieda entered her mind, but she wouldn't, she couldn't. Yet she looked outside her window and saw the darkness in the colors and sighed, she didn't have much of a choice. She walked through the secret passage that connected her and Frieda's room and picked up her friends phone. I'm doing what's right she reminded herself, to help Frieda I need to find her; which means I need some help of my own she thought as she hit the call button. No this is not Frieda, Lillian said annoyed, but I need help finding her, she's in trouble. Can you help me? I said it nicely what does that mean ask nicer. Fine, fine.... Ogron I need help finding Frieda can you please help me?
Consider it done Princess, Ogron said appearing on Frieda's bed, but I can only help you so much.
Please don't make me regret this Lillian said looking at him harshly, I just want to find and help my friend.
And I want to make sure my sister is okay Ogron said, something happened to her, and you can clearly see it through the colors; and I would do anything for Frieda, she's family.
Lillian looked at Ogron and saw the kindness and truth in his words, maybe Frieda was right; maybe he did change. Where is she?
Last I saw her Ogron said, in the clearing not too far from here. But the colors are back and the trembles have stopped. Which means Frieda did everything in her power to stop them.
