"You build me up and then I fall apart"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You're safe Frieda, don't worry I've got you; I'm gonna help you out of this, just hold on okay.
Okay Frieda whispered inside her head, her voice echoing, sitting down she sifted through her memories pain playing on her face. She didn't want to but her mind was trying to tell her something. She reached to touch the next memory when everything went dark, what happened her voice echoed quietly as she fell asleep inside her mind.
How's it going Ace? Lillian asked walking into the infirmary standing besides him.
I gave her a dreamless sleep potion Ace said, she looked in so much pain and besides I want her not to feel anything. I'm going to try to heal her scars he said pointing to the word monster written into her skin, and that's going to hurt.
What did they do to her Lillian asked in worry, her voice going quiet but she knew he heard because his entire body stiffened, what did they do to you?
Oblivion is very convincing when it comes to trapping people Ace said I can't believe I did it, but the weird thing is I can barely even remember what happened, what Oblivion said to me.
Do you think she remembers? Lillian asked looking at her friend and then back at Ace.
For her own sake and mentality I hope not Ace said, but for me to be able to help her and heal her completely I hope so.
You can do this Ace, I believe in you Lillian said; let me know when she wakes up. Remember the rainbow gardenia is still in the gardens here if you wish to speak to it. I know you didn't have much luck last time, but maybe now you will.
Thanks Lillian, I can do this Ace whispered to himself as he sparked his magic the golden color lighting up the room Paladin heal he whispered, yet unsurprisingly it didn't work he knew he'd have to use a stronger spell but at least he tried. Paladin reverse he whispered the spell Frieda created watching the words on her skin slowly fade away, yet it was not enough; he'd have to continue using that spell until all the scars disappeared.
Continuing to spark his magic Ace continued to mumble the words Paladin reverse watching as the words written in her skin slowly began to disappear. After the sixth use of the spell he fell onto his knees weakened, most of the scars faded yet they were still slightly visible, but one of the scars was still there not even with the slightest chance of disappearing, obviously not going anywhere anytime soon; and that was the one that was written above her heart. Ace sighed in defeat, I don't know what I'm doing wrong!
You're doing better than you can imagine Ace, Ofelia said shaking her head no one has ever been able to undo the work of Oblivion before. Normally his work is permanent, and even the strongest of fairies and wizards can't undo it; but I suppose Paladin's are different aren't they. If anyone can help her it's you Ace, I believe in you, now you have to as well.
Thanks Ace said quietly as he stared at his hands trying to figure out what to do. Maybe a trip to the gardens won't be such a bad idea Ace mumbled.
Good luck Ace, Ofelia said as I'm sure you're aware the rainbow gardenia doesn't always give you the answers you need.
I'm aware Ace said but I'm also desperate. I'll take my chances he said getting up and slowly leaving the infirmary, keep me updated on how she does while I'm gone, and if anything weird happens or anything serious don't hesitate to call me. I might be desperate for an answer but if she's in danger I'll drop everything to come back to her.
Don't worry Ace, she's in good hands Ofelia said, go.
Ace smiled at her and left the infirmary heading to the gardens. Walking past the halls everyone was silent, fairies who would normally be studying in Frieda's class roamed the grounds saddened. For Frieda's safety they haven't told anyone they had rescued her from Oblivion; the last thing they wanted was the rainbow council figuring out and coming to see that they actually did damage to her, that they succeeded in hurting her. He watched students like Sasha, Kim, and Gemma who were all inspired and loved Frieda whisper plans to try and break her out of Oblivion. Walking into the garden no one payed him any mind as he sat down by the rainbow gardenia; touching the petal of the flower he felt himself be taken far away from Alfea's gardens.
