"And I bleed when I fall down"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's always hard, when you've got so much going on, so many voices, and judgements, to focus on what's important. Sometimes we give into that little voice that whispers are you sure you are good enough, you're such a bad friend, a bad person. Sometimes we believe the words the voice speaks, we keep bring ourselves further and further down, believing we aren't good enough, that we did something wrong, that someway, somehow we screwed up. You bring yourself down, deeper and deeper, until you hit bedrock, until you hit the lowest you can go; then what? Do you continue to sulk and listen to the voice, or do you fight to see the light and climb back up to the surface remembering the truth.
It's not that easy, that voice is convincing and besides, what if it's right? How do I know, how do I find the light when darkness surrounds me; how do I break free when I'm chained down by my own thoughts, what would happen if I hoped, and what would happen if I just gave in. What would it change, why would it matter? Does anyone even see me, do they even see my pain, why don't they help me, am I that invisible?
I'll shout in a crowd and no head will turn, I'll cry out loud and no one will hear, I'll wave my hand in your face and yet you still won't see me. I've never been special, I've never been noticed, no one has ever seen past my wall, no one has ever seen me. They see the girl who fakes a smile, who says she's fine when she's breaking inside, but they don't notice they don't realize, they believe her facade and that's enough.
They never cared to look closer, to question or ask, are you okay, they've never seen past what I let them see; but sometimes they don't even bother to look, they don't care, they laugh at what they see, I'm invisible, they don't care, I'm invisible, hurting inside tears down from my eyes and I'm invisible, like I have always been, no one ever notices or cares. I am silent in a crowd for even if I use my voice I won't be found. I cry and tears fall but no one sees. Why do I keep pretending, that I'm not invisible, I know I am, so why do I keep hoping to be seen?
I guess I'll never know, I guess I should just stop expecting, I should just....... stop. Then no one gets hurt, then no expectations are failed, so I'll just stop, I'll just stay quiet, I'll stay invisible, who would even notice if I'm gone........
Frieda rose as her eyes met the witches before her, as her head pounded loudly, revenge boiled through her, and dark magic spread through her veins. Unlike Flora none of her features changed, except her eyes, they were dark pure black you could see nothing but darkness in them, it looked as if a demon took over the girl.
Her normal brown eyes were gone, and the color that could sometimes be found in her eyes was not present; they were just black. In her transformation the flowers began fading black, her outfit turning darker but only by the slightest, the black in color was always there, hidden just like Frieda's feelings, but now as she revealed how she was feeling, the darkness in her heart had become more present. Frieda started at the witches as she sparked her magic.
We are not your enemies we are your friends Icy spoke quickly seeing Frieda's attack ready, and these people she said pointing to the spirits of the Ancestral Witches, are you're grandmothers, they have been hurt like this for so long, but you have the spell to undo it; in that book in your crown. Won't you help them?
Frieda looked at them skeptically and Belladona saw her hesitance, my dear granddaughter if you bring us back I promise to hurt whoever has hurt you, and help you destroy them, deal?
She removed the crown from her head and opened it, taking out the spell book she opened to the page. She wanted revenge on who had hurt her, she wanted to make them pay, they thought she was a monster, she would show them a monster.
