I'm trapped.
Barricaded in my room.
I hear him breaking things and screaming my name.
He's walking down the hallway.
He's screaming for me.
He's in Lisa's room.
She's at work. She isn't here to protect me.
I called Ashton, but he isn't answering. He has a fight tonight.
I try to get my window open, but it won't budge. It's stuck.
I'm stuck.
I do the only thing I can think of and grab the fan that's in my closet. I get a firm hold on it and hit it at against my window, causing it to shatter.
"Juliet!" Daniel screams.
I place the fan on the ground and grab my phone off the counter, running for my window whilst glass impales the bottom of my feet. As I am halfway out the window, I feel him grab my leg and pull me back inside. I scream at the top of my lungs and try to get out of his grasp, but every time I move, the sharp glass that sticks out of my window pane stabs my sides.
He grabs me by my waist and throws me to the floor. His eyes are bloodshot and his face red with evil.
"Where's my money, bitch?!" He yells, slapping me across the face.
"I-I don't have it!" I scream back. I kick him off of me and try to run for my door when he grabs my ankle and pulls me down. I feel my arm land on glass and cry out in pain. Daniel grabs my torso and throws me against the wall, causing me to hit my back and slam my head.
All I see is a blurry image of Daniel picking up something from the ground. I try to scream for help again, but nothing comes out.
"I'm going to ask you one more time." He taunts in my ear. Just as I think he is going to finish his a sentence, I feel a sharp, searing pain in my abdomen. I scream at the top of my lungs and look down to see him holding a shard of glass inside of my body. He twists it, causing the pain to become unbearable and my breathing to be apprehended.
This is ten times worse then Jackson cutting my wrists.
He finally yanks it out of my body, causing me to jolt and fall to the ground, bleeding and gasping for air. I try to put pressure on the wound, but Daniel straddles me. My body is starting to shut down. I feel it. The air is so heavy that I can't breathe.
"Where is my money?" He asks again. I see him raising a piece of glass in the air, prepared to stab me again. I open my mouth to speak, but it comes out as barely a whisper.
"I-I d-don't ha-have it."
As soon as I finish saying that, he digs the glass into my upper thigh and pulls it out quickly. I gasp and cry out in pain. I see a blurry smile on his face as he lifts another piece of glass.
Don't let him win, Juliet. Don't let him win. My conscience says.
With all of my strength, I quickly grab the fan that's next to me and throw it at Daniel's head. I see him fall to the ground and force myself to stand up. I quickly jump out of my window and grab my phone that landed on the grass when Daniel pulled me back in. I hear him start to stir and run for Ashton's house.
My legs are so weak and my body is screaming for me to stop. I know that my leg and abdomen are covered in blood. I can barely see and by the time I reach Ashton's front door, I feel like I'm going to fall down. I ring the door bell profusely, praying for someone to answer the door. I see Antonia in the porch window and she opens the door. I cover my wounds so she doesn't get scared.
