Song: Hearts Up - Ariana Grande
--
You think you're so small Like you're itty bitty.
Just one match in the lights of the city
Walking by strangers on the side of the street
Like a quarter in a cup'll get 'em up on their feet,
Like You think you're never gonna make your mark
Sit back and watch the world while it falls apart,
like Out of sight, out of mind, like,
like It's just a waste of time.

I walked down the stairs leading into Hailey's basement. Drew, Chris and Hailey were there.
I took our the microphone and Hailey strummed her guitar.
"Where's Zane?" I asked.
"He will be here soon, he went to get snacks," Hailey said as Zane came down the steps.
He handed us each a bottle of water and two strips of licorice. We all sat down and ate little bites of our licorice when I noticed Amanda wasn't there.
"Where's Amanda?" I asked.
"Don't know. She said she wasn't going to make it today," Hailey said with a shrug.
I got up from my spot on the floor and grabbed a microphone, everybody else followed and went to their instruments.
Drew started the drums and the music fell into place. It all sounded so good, like this was what the original songs should sound like. The song was literally great.
We practiced until two o'clock in the afternoon, Hailey and I left the guys downstairs to do who knows what and called Amanda. She picked up on the third ring.
"Hello?" She said.
I put the phone on speaker, "Hey," Hailey and I said.
"Oh, hey guys, whats up?" Amanda said.
"Nothing much, Where were you today?" Hailey asked.
"I was with Faith. She was showing me the band room and let me tell you, it is AMAZING!" Amanda said.
I looked over at Hailey, "Great." I mumbled.
"Well, look I got to go. I'll talk to you guys tomorrow." She said.
We both said bye and hung up. I walked over to the counter and grabbed my car keys.
"I'll see you tomorrow," I said.
Hailey nodded and went back downstairs as I left. I walked to my car, got in and drove home.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm which read seven A.M. I got out of bed and walked over to my dresser, getting the clothes out that we picked at the store.
I walked out of my room and went to the closed bathroom door. I pounded on it, "Let me in!" I screamed.
"Wait a sec.!" My sister, Sophie yelled back.
I groaned and the bathroom door finally drifted open. My sister came out looking like a rag doll, she had dark circles under her eyes and her face was pale.
