Song: Sterio Hearts-
--
My hearts a sterio,
it beats for you so listen close
hear my heart in every note, oh oh.
Make me your sterio
and turn me up when you feel low

I saw Sophie lying in the bed and I froze in place. I couldn't stand to see her so sick and un-life like. The doctors where pushing me out of the way and yelling but it was all a blur. I couldn't hear their voices or feel their hands. I moved and let my sister pass.
Hailey shook my shoulder and I turned around to face her.
"Listen, it is going to be okay, lets just go get some ice cream or something! Come on," She said.
I followed her without a word, I could tell she was crying as well. Tears streaked my face. How do you even get this disease? Why did she have to get it? Is it fatal? I have so many questions, but no one will answer.
I felt Hailey slap my arm and I touched it, "What?" I mumbled.
"The ice cream shop in the hospital is on the first floor, come on," she said as she got onto the elevator.
I followed her in and clicked the button with the number '1'. I felt my stomach go to my throat as the elavator moved. The doors opened and we stepped out. I followed her down the hall and she walked into a little shop with brown and white walls and little white tables. Hailey walked up to the cashier and asked for two large coffee ice creams.
The cashier told her the bill and she payed for it. The girl handed us our ice creams and we went to a table in the back of the shop. I grabbed a napkin and wrapped it around the cone and licked the coffee flavored ice cream.
Hailey looked up at me and pain crossed her face, her eyes were puffy like mine from crying, "I'm so sorry! I really am. I wish I could help, but I don't know how,"
I slightly nodded, "Its okay. Its not your fault. I don't even know how she got it."
Hailey smiled, "You can get it just by breathing. I'm shocked your whole family doesn't have it."
I am glad they dont, I wouldnt be able to stand seeing Angela as sick as Sophie. Or my mom. She helps me with everything.
My phone buzzed in my pocket and Amanda's ring tone played.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
Amanda sounded like she had been crying, "Hey! I heard what happened to Sophie, are you okay? Do you want me to come keep you company or something?"
"Hailey's here right now, we're eating ice cream. You can come to," I said.
"Okay, I'll be there soon. Bye, Grace." She said.
I said goodbye and hung up.
"Who was that?" Hailey asked, licking some more ice cream.
"Amanda, she will be here soon," I said.
Hailey nodded and we both finished our ice cream. We went outside the hospital to greet Amanda when she got here. I saw her car pull up and she got out and came over to us.
