"I can't believe you have 3 million subscribers!" Julie spoke proudly to her sister while flipping through a bridal catalogue. "My baby sister is making moveeeees!"
"That's a huge accomplishment Genevieve." Cynthia applauded, looking up from her wedding Pinterest board long enough to smile at her youngest daughter. "I'm proud of you."
"Thanks Jules." Phoenix grinned. "Thanks mom."
Since her tragic breakup with Chris, Phoenix had taken a break from all social media and it had been almost a month since she posted on YouTube at all. After leaving Mackie's party 2 days prior, she returned from her break by posting the Day in the Life of Tom Holland which she edited over 5 weeks prior. With all the things she had going on including dealing with her heartbreak, she hadn't even had the time to get together with Zendaya and Hemmy to shoot their videos. She was already imagining how many more people she'd attract to her channel when she and Zendaya finally shot her day in the life.
"You know what, let's take a break from the wedding planning for a minute." Cynthia suggested after placing her laptop on the coffee table. Both Phoenix and Julie followed suit and placed their bridal magazines on the coffee table as well.
Although Phoenix had taken her parents reconciliation hard at first, being in Cleveland and seeing them interact made her feel more than content. Richard and Cynthia looked more in love than Phoenix had ever seen and all she ever wanted was for both of her parents to be genuinely happy.
"Sooo, let's talk." Cynthia spoke. "How are things with you, Genevieve?"
"Ugh." Phoenix grunted. She had been in Cleveland for 12 hours now and was grateful that her older sister nor her mother brought up her previous relationship. However, she knew that her mother was indirectly asking if there were any new updates on she and Chris. "Well, 2 days ago Chris told me he slept with his ex girlfriend and then confronted me about my relationship with Tom at a birthday party all the while having a hickey on his neck so there's that."
