This is the sequel to my favorite part, so if you haven't read that, go do it now! To those who are coming from the previous book, welcome! Be sure to vote/ comment and let me know what you think!

"Dodger stop." Phoenix spoke with her eyes still closed while shooing away the animal that was currently licking her face. Because Dodger didn't usually come to the head of the bed until Chris started stirring, he didn't normally wake Phoenix up. She was constantly arising hours before her boyfriend which meant she was fully alert when Dodger attacked the couple with doggie kisses.

"That doesn't look like Dodger to me." Chris replied quietly as he stood over her.

Phoenix scrunched her nose after Chris leaned down to give her a kiss, causing him to chuckle. It wasn't often that he was up before his girlfriend but on the rare chance he was, he would wake her with a kiss. In almost 2 years of dating, the one and only thing Phoenix regularly complained about was Chris kissing her before she had the chance to brush her teeth. Although he didn't mind it, it drove Phoenix crazy and that always amused him.

"Wake up honeybee." Chris added.

When Phoenix finally opened her eyes, she found a Siberian white husky puppy with a left blue eye and a right grey eye now licking her arm. "Did you buy me a puppy, Chris?"

He nodded with a proud smile. "Congrats on 1 million subscribers!"

"Wait, what?!"

"When I woke up this morning, you were at 1 million subscribers." He replied enthusiastically. "I may or may not have been closely monitoring your YouTube."

"Are you joking?" Phoenix asked while pulling Chris on top of her. Because he didn't want to squish her, he hovered over her and kissed her once more before rolling onto his side of the bed.

"I'm serious!"

"Holy fuck." She replied, in shock.

Not only was Phoenix surprised that she hit one million followers in such a short period of time but she was also feeling very lucky to have such a supportive partner in Chris that was always encouraging her. She paid so little attention to her subscriber count that she probably wouldn't have even noticed the 1 million if it wasn't for Chris.

About six or seven months into the relationship, when things started really picking up, Phoenix went began making short 4-7 minute videos documenting the things she did when Chris was off for months shooting: whether it was visiting friends in L.A., spending the night in the city, or just taking Dodger to the park. Not only did Chris appreciate the effort she put into their relationship by trying to keep him involved when he was away, but he was more and more amazed at how talented the love of his life was every time she sent him another video. Although Chris enjoyed the fact that Phoenix created videos for his eyes only, he wanted nothing more than for her to share her eye for film with the world. Not too long ago, he finally suggested Phoenix post her vlogs on YouTube and sure enough they started gaining traction.

With Phoenix's background in film and editing plus her creative vision, she was always posting different and innovative videos that drew more and more attention; and it didn't take long for people to start subscribing and following her on different social media platforms. Phoenix enjoyed creating content so much that she had basically been doing it full time in the short time since she'd started; and she had Chris to thank for encouraging her to start in the first place. Now, not even 6 months later, she was at 1 million subscribers on YouTube!

"I couldn't be more proud of you!" Chris gushed. "I adore you and everything you do. I love you."

"I love you moreeee." Phoenix responded while running her hand through her new puppy's white fur. "I can't believe you bought me a dog."
