"Do you need help?" Phoenix laughed as she watched her husband build Aria's white crib. He'd been working on it for the past 2 hours while Phoenix sat in a plush baby pink chair in the corner of the room with both Ghost and Dodger lounging on the floor in front of the closet.

It had been exactly a week since Chris and Phoenix moved into their new house. Because Chris had some time off for thanksgiving, they thought it'd be best for them to begin their move as soon as possible which is why they spent the bulk of their day on thanksgiving moving, with help from Chris's parents and siblings. It wasn't the best way to spend a holiday but his family insisted on helping in any way they could to help prepare for the arrival of Aria.

Chris looked up from the mess of wood pieces in front of him with a bead of sweat on his forehead. "I got it honey."

Phoenix walked over to where her husband sat on the floor and kneeled beside him before wiping the sweat off his forehead with her shirt. "See how hard daddy is working for you, Ari?"

Chris placed a hand on his wife's, still small, stomach and gave her a kiss. "I'd do anything for you both."

"I know." She smiled after placing her own hand on top of Chris's. Phoenix was now 13 weeks and still didn't look pregnant unless her upper half was naked. She had been getting worried because her doctor told her that she'd most likely develop a visible baby bump by week 12, which wasn't the case. Luckily, Chris's sister came to the rescue and let Phoenix know her bump wasn't visible until she was around 20 weeks and Cynthia said the same thing.

"Are you excited to go back to California next week?" Chris asked as he resumed building his daughter's crib. His agent had booked him to go on the Ellen show to promote a movie he had finished filming almost a year and a half ago.

"Of course! It feels like I haven't been in L.A. in a year. I barely remember what my house even looks like." Phoenix admitted.

"Hopefully you choose a different crib for Aria's room in California because this one is a little complex." Chris chuckled. Because she and Chris would always have to be in L.A. at some point, they decided it'd be best not to sell Phoenix's house so they'd never have to worry about hotels or renting houses when their careers had them staying for long periods of time.

"Let me help you babe." She insisted. She stood up and stopped for a second to stretch her legs before walking around the pile of wood and rearranging them. When she was all finished, she looked down at Chris to find him smiling. "Why are you smiling?"

"Because my wife is multitalented. I stan."

She giggled. "I married a fucking dork."

"You married a fucking dork." Chris confirmed while pulling her back onto the floor until she was straddling his legs. He wrapped his arms around her and placed a kiss on her lips.

"You are unbelievably gorgeous and your ass is amazing."

"Oh babe, that's all you. You're way out of my league."

"And I miss your beard." Phoenix spoke somewhat randomly as she began stroking Chris's face.

"I would think it'd be more comfortable for you to sit on my face now that there's no hair to get in the way."

"Of course that's what you're thinking about."

"Well." Chris raised an eyebrow. "We've only got 6 more weeks of shooting left and I'll grow it back."

"Nomad Steve style?"

"Nomad Steve style." He confirmed with a laugh.

"Do you ever just randomly think about how lucky we are to have found one another?" Phoenix asked while caressing the back of his head. "If it wasn't for Tom and Lizzie and, to some extent, Downey, we wouldn't even be together."
