It had been 2 days since Chris and Phoenix got engaged and they were just now announcing it publicly through their social media platforms. She would have loved to make a YouTube video about it for her subscribers but knowing how much Chris valued his and their privacy, she wanted to respect that and decided against posting an entire video. She had made a mental note to speak to him about how much he was comfortable with her sharing about their relationship and wedding planning. Essentially, Phoenix posted what she wanted at the end of the day without seeking permission but it was important for her to always consider Chris's feelings before doing anything that would affect them both.
"You have a little something on your face." Chris smiled at his fiancée as she scrunched her nose. He had just got done globing funfetti icing on the top of her nose rather than spreading it on the cake they had just made, like he was supposed to.
"Is this what we're doing now?" Phoenix asked before sticking two fingers in the container of icing and creating a messy line from Chris's cheek to the side of his beard.
"Hey!" He frowned while sticking another finger into the icing, this time smudging the contents from her collarbone to the top of her breast. "I could just eat you up."
Phoenix looked down at the path Chris's fingers previously traveled and back up at him. She then dipped her fingers in the icing and placed a line directly above the seam of his briefs. "Maybe you should, Mr. Evans."
"It would be my pleasure, future Mrs. Evans."
"At this rate, your birthday cake isn't going to have any icing." She teased.
"Would that be so wrong?"
"Ugh I'm going to miss you."
"I'm going to miss you more." Chris replied while wrapping his arms around Phoenix. Because the reshoots were pushed up a couple of days, Chris was set to leave tomorrow rather than the day after his birthday meaning the couple would be apart for both his birthday and their anniversary.
