*Love for Allah*

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

If Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala had to ask us;
I will give you My love, but in exchange you must give up everything. You must give up your life. Then, this is a very cheap transaction.
A person has to undergo many sacrifices before the love of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala can enter the heart. It does not come on its own. A person has to make the effort and Mujahada, for the Asl love to enter the heart.

This is how Hadhrat Rahimahullah achieved the love of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. He made Khidmat of his Sheikh and was very obedient to him. Such obedience and sacrifice has not been seen.
Everybody can sacrifice in their own way. We do not need to go out in the jungles and make Khidmat of someone.
*Everybody can sacrifice in their own little way.*

Everybody's sacrifice is different from the other. *You cannot compare your sacrifice with that of another because Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has created everybody differently.*
Allah has created the capacity to tolerate differently for every person.
Sometimes you see someone with a cold and fever lying in bed all day long. While others for days on end have very high fever, suffer from many Ajeeb illnesses like cancer, yet they are pushing themselves and walking about like normal people. When you talk to them, you do not realize how sick they are.

*Hadhrat Shibli*
Hadhrat Shibli Rahimahullah was a great pious
He has written many Kitaabs in the love of Allah.
Hadhrat Shibli went through a process which enabled him to achieve the divine love of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. That is how he rose to the highest stage and we recall him with a lot of respect.

Hadhrat Shibli was a governor of an entire province. The Khalifa of the time, gathered all the governors and awarded those who had done an excellent job with expensive robes of honour. Then he said;
Tomorrow I am hosting a grand lunch and all of you must wear these robes at the occasion. They came at the lunch wearing their robes. Everybody was happy and merry.
One of the governors felt like sneezing. He was embarrassed and tried to stop sneezing. However he was not able to and ended up sneezing two or three times. He sneezed loudly and everybody turned to look at him. The Khalifa also stopped to look at him. He realized after the governor had sneezed, mucus had come out of his nose.
While the Khalifa was looking at him, the governor wiped the mucus from his nose with the sleeve of the expensive robe he was wearing. Immediately the Khalifa went into a rage and started shouting at him; this is a robe of honour I have given you whereas you are using it to clean your nose.

Everybody stopped talking and noticed the temper of the Khalifa. The Khalifa then said;
I am going to disgrace you in front of everyone.
In front of everyone, he took off the governor's robe and expelled him from the hall. Then all the happiness of the people died down and everybody left.
