Snow began to fall again, and Kageyama pried you off the swings and finally convinced you to head home.
You pouted and put up a fight but gave in eventually. "My legs hurt." You complained, sitting on the snowy ground. "I'm taking a break."
Kageyama pulled you back up only to sweep you off your feet. "You need to sleep, you drunk nuisance. You have school tomorrow."
You gasped. "I thought aliens didn't have to go to school."
"You do."
After a moment of silence you reached out and touched his face. "What are you." It wasn't a question you expected an answer to. "You're too pretty to be a human or an alien."
Kageyama had gotten used to ignoring all your drunk comments at this stage. "I'm milk boy." He responded, remembering the nickname you'd given him.
Your face lit up. "That's right!" You exclaimed. "My milk boy."
And that's the last of what you remembered before falling asleep in Kageyama's arms.

You woke up with a splitting headache, and a huge urge to just throw yourself out the window.
Is this what hangovers felt like? Because you did not want to have one ever again. You turned your head to your bedside where there were two pills along with a glass of water and a sticky note. "Drink this when you're up so you don't kill someone in school. Don't be late, I'll be outside your house at 7:30."
There was no mistaking that it was Kageyama's hand writing, and you rushed to get yourself ready for school. You heard a knock on your door and starting running around the place frantically trying to finish up.
"Good morning!" You chirped when you finally stepped outside.
"Hurry before we're late." Was the response you got and you rolled your eyes. So much for trying to be cheerful.
The day went on as it normally did, but this time you had the urge to slap some people when they wouldn't shut up or slam your head on the table to get rid of your headache.
You saw Kenji with a black eye and smirked, remembering what he did last night and feeling that he absolutely deserved the beating you gave.
Once school was over and you'd successfully made it through the day without becoming a murderer, you decided to thank Kageyama.
"Hey, uh. I know I was a wreck last night but thanks for putting up with me."
He gave me a small smile. "It wasn't all bad. You were pretty entertaining." He replied and you sighed in relief, at least you didn't make a complete and utter fool out of yourself.
At least, not that you remembered.
"Let's go?" He asked and you nodded, walking with him to the schools gymnasium. You'd begun to get along quite well with the team, since you'd been accompanying kageyama to every single practice of his. This all happened because of your sprained ankle, but you were just happy to have made new friends.
Even Tsukishima had some sort of respect for you, although that didn't stop him from throwing snarky comments your way, you knew he didn't hate you.
"Oh! Hey (f/n)!" Sugawara called, smiling when you entered the gym. This turned a few heads and you heard a chorus of "What's up?" And "how're you doing?" And so on.
You greeted them with a gentle smile on your face, and made your way over to Kiyoko. As per routine, the two idiotic second years were all over Kiyoko, admiring everything she did and you giggled, finding it sort of endearing.
Tanaka and Nishinoya had to be the most welcoming people out of the whole team. "(F/n)! Did you see that? The ball went like WHOOSH and I slammed it down like BAM and it was an accident!" Oh yes, of course the bright ball of sunshine was also one of the most welcoming people.
He'd finally gotten used to using your first name, even though you still couldn't get used to calling him by his. "That's amazing Hinata! Keep at it and you'll be able to spike any ball!" You encouraged.
He nodded his head frantically at your words and pranced off to practise. "Don't praise him too much, it'll get to his head." You heard Tsukishima mumble when walking by.
"You're really smart on court you know?" Your rare compliment left the beanpole in shock. "You're calmer than the others and it's handy. Keep up the good work!" You told him before jogging off to help out with setting up the nets. Tsukishima shook his head at your unpredictable personality and continued doing whatever it wad he was doing.
Coach Ukai blew his whistle and practice started.
The whole team was usually at ease around you even though they knew you were a ticking time bomb that could go off at any second. You were basically one of them.
"Daichi, Asahi!" You smiled at them, during a break. "You guys have been working hard! Here's a drink." You handed them both water bottles and they thanked you.
Yamaguchi approached you next and you handed him a water bottle and also a towel. "Don't overwork yourself, you're doing amazing already." You reassured him which he returned with a weak smile.
Kiyoko had asked you to be assistant manager a few times, but you didn't think you'd be up to the task and turned her down, feeling quite guilty. "I'll help you find one though!" You offered and that seemed to be fine by her.
You spent most of the time during practice with Kiyoko and you had gotten quite close. Yukio stopped coming to the practices altogether since she joined the art club.
When the boys had finished up and went to change, you lent Kiyoko a hand in cleaning up the gym. Kageyama came out asking if you were ready and you flung a broom at him, telling him to help with cleaning.
He chuckled, knowing your head was still throbbing from the amount you drank the night before. You were good at holding back when it came to most people, but your guard dropped when you were around Kageyama or Yukio.
Not that either of them minded. Finally, you finished up cleaning and agreed to head home, and unfortunately for you, bumping into Kenji on the way.
Well isn't this just fantastic?

YEET some fists are about to be THROWNNN
I was gonna involve a lot more of volleyball in this fic but I don't have wifi when in writing this, and I really feel like writing as much as I can before going through another writers block phase
Since I don't have wifi, I can't get the dialogues and stuff right and I don't wanna mess up an anime as good as haikyuu by misquoting things, so I'll limit the volleyball content in this book to practice and mostly.
Plus if I used too many scenes from the anime I wouldn't feel like this fanfic has any originality at all if you get me? I'm already including characters that aren't made by me so I followed the exact plot too I'd feel like I'm copy pasting something.
Anyways, that's all I have to say for now, these are unedited so please forgive any spelling errors!
Stay fabulous babes xo
