⤚ Faded Into Darkness ⤙

PLANNING happened to be very dangerous when you didn't have a group of people that you knew you could count on. Typically when we launched plans there was three of us. Akiya, Storm and I. Then we welcomed in Daiki to the group, and then Issei.

And our newest addition happened to be Nightshade. She was quite standoffish and didn't like participating in group activities. Her only real interest here lied in Issei. Without ghost riders on her breathing down her throat she wasn't that into holding hands and skipping through town.

She wasn't a girl that liked the thought of being tied down. She was a free spirit drifting through the air and Issei happened to be similar. But it was fine. If she didn't want to help it was fine, it's not like she was an absolute requirement since her problem had been fixed thankfully.

Akiya was always the one who came up with the ideas on this. And he came up with good ideas, it was the reason he invented the plans when we had something come up. But now Akiya wasn't here to come up with a plan. He was taken by a nogitsune.

And we had to come up with a plan to get him back. Because come hell or high water we would be getting him back. That is a promise. Daiki and Issei were nogitsunes, they were natural tricksters and knew how to work it. But this was grounds we hadn't covered.

Storm was the one who came up with the idea, the idea that led me into this parking lot near the Asian World Market that happened to be near the woods. The plan that could go insanely wrong, but at this point it was the only plan that we had.

"What exactly is the plan?" I asked Storm as she sat on my bed as Daiki sat next to me an arm on my thigh. "A dangerous one if not done right, and I know no one is going to agree with it, but it might be the only plan that we have." Storm spoke.

"Just say it and stop leaving this mystery air around it. I already am not your biggest fan, you can't screw it up much more." Daiki said resulting in me slapping his arm. Daiki pouted as he rubbed his arm. "You can't make me hate you." Daiki corrected.

I smiled at him. Storm glared at Daiki her forest green eyes of irritation. But luckily she didn't do anything. Controlling Storm was hard enough, Daiki listened. . . to a degree. But if those two went at each other's throat, I knew I wouldn't be able to stop them.

Only my mom and possibly Issei could separate the two of them. Daiki was incredibly powerful, and Storm is a truck going 80 mph at a brick wall when angry and tossing punches. The wrestler in her no doubt. She also isn't the most friendlies when pissed off either.

"Okay, well this Raiden guy is going to appear, I'm not going to sugar coat it, if you don't show up unguarded in public which the only chance is at school and that's too risky for him he'll show up here and forcefully remove you from here," Storm began making me go still at the thought.

"He is obvious very willing to risk most of it to get you for whatever reason it may be. It was default he got Aki so easy since we weren't aware of him out there. Although with the ghost riders being our main concern they used it to their advantage." Storm spoke.

Of course they did. We were so focused on making sure Nightshade would survive the ghost riders to realize that nogitsunes were closing in on us. They had used the storm to their advantage and striked when we didn't expect it and had snatched Akiya right away.

And now I was in Raiden's sights. "Meaning he is going to come here and forcefully remove you. And since he didn't have much trouble with Akiya and Akiya had access to foxfire your going to be quite easy for him. I say that with lots of love." Storm said.
