Akiya
THE smallest thing can start a chain reaction; a butterfly effect. They say when a butterfly flaps its wings a storm brews. It's when one thing small can cause something huge. I'm not sure if Araya escaping was small, but it caused a reaction.
The reaction of my human side for the first time in awhile fighting back. He was angry and pissed. There was no denying the bond between those two. The bond I craved with Araya's spirit once she actually stopped being a bitch and showed herself more often. I wanted that bond.
But I never knew how powerful that bond was until this moment. He was fighting with all of his will against me. Screaming at me to let him out and to stop keeping him in the dark. He wanted to keep his twin safe. He didn't like the danger being posed.
He didn't like the situation the two were about to be in. The thought of being seperated was bringing emotions inside of him crashing through like a hurricane with the force of a tsunami behind him. If there was one thing I would say about him was that he is protective of his sister.
And as he warred with me the alarms within the asylum went off as the inmates of the asylum were released. And it would be one thing if it was the human side. They could easily be contained. But no that psychotic ghost rider girl released the supernatural side.
When the red eyed man came in I went out the back entrance where dad had pulled us through. "What are we doing?" I asked dad as he looked over me. "They can handle themselves." Dad spoke glancing back at the cafeteria as Miki put her sword through the red eyed mans head.
"And Jakku will have fun with the werewolves who escaped. I only have one concern on my mind and it doesn't involve these inmates." Dad spoke as the alarms blared and he took out his katana just as a girl leaped at him and he put his katana through her belly.
And she sunk into the wall blood dripping everywhere on her way down. He didn't even care that he had put her down. "Lets go." Dad ordered and I followed after him. "How do they plan to get out of here?" I asked and dad looked back at me.
"The back entrance?" I asked. Dad rolled his eyes. "That's too obvious, the inmates will be waiting there for whoever is foolish enough to escape from there. It's where everyone would go, and they have it planned out. They are going to the obvious place." Dad spoke and I watched him.
"They're going to the front entrance, it's where everyone will avoid. Therefore none of the inmates will be there. They have Miki's fucking youngest one with him. He may not be violent but he is a master of trickery for as young as he is." Dad spoke and I nodded.
"He tends to think steps ahead. We have to try to get ahead of him because he had a plan B no doubt." Dad spoke and I nodded as I drew my katana out and he looked around. "Stay alert, they will be everywhere." Dad spoke and I nodded at them.
"And if you see something with white eyes, run like hell. Don't even look back. Just fucking run." Dad spoke. "What has white eyes?" I asked. "Something that barely feels pain and will literally let you hack it up to get at you." He seemed a bit worried about encountering one.
"Only a werewolf bite and a foxfire blessed blade can kill us." I spoke. A bit of a smile went up his lips. "Oh Akiya, death isn't the worst thing out there. If they get their hands on you, trust me son you'll be wishing they'll kill you." I froze up at that.
My father was a thousand years old. He had seen empires rise and fall into sand and be forgotten by time. And this creature seemed to have him on edge. . . and nothing got him on edge. Knowing this had me stiff and unsure of what to do.
