Sat. 5th January
Ever since I gave her the rose, she's been talking to me more. I've started to relax around her, but my heart still beats like crazy. She says I'm her best friend now, along with Ginny. I guess it's a start. Every time I pick up the courage to tell her how I feel, I see Malfoy or Pansy Parkingson, sneering, watching me. And when I'm alone with her, I always manage to knock something over. It's pretty embarrassing. And I haven't even mastered the reparo spell yet. I wish she wasn't Ravenclaw. It'd be so much nicer if she was Gryffindor. Oh well. One day I'll catch her on her own, and I'll manage to say how much I love her.
