10 years had passed by so quickly.
Kaida had turned 9, and tomorrow was our 10 year anniversary. Married life with Logan was so easy, our love never faded. We had little disagreements every now and again, but other than that, life was perfect.

So much had changed elsewhere though.

Sabrina had gotten married, and since then she's had 3 kids, so we don't see each other as much as we'd like.

Heather had moved away to Australia 5 years ago, where she met her fiance.

Mom and Ronaldo were still together.

Nobody has heard from Rome in 9 years.
We're not even sure if he's still in the army, if he's alive, married or even has kids. He cut all contact with all his friends, even his father.

I'd lie if I said I never thought about him, because I do. I don't regret my decision, I don't regret Logan, I just worry about the effect me and Logan falling in love done to him. That's what hurts the most. I don't speak to Logan about Rome anymore, it's a sore subject.

So instead I keep those thoughts to myself.

On a happier note, Mom and Ronaldo took Kaida for the weekend, Logan is taking me away to Finland for the weekend, to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. I just love the snow, and cold weather. I much prefer it over a sunny, warm location.

"Did you really have to book first class?"
I say rolling my eyes. This man has no problem splashing the cash.

"It's our 10 year anniversary Kate. What's the point in having money, if you can't enjoy it?"
He says rolling his eyes, and sighing.

This was always the reason for our small arguments. Money. I hated overspending on things we didn't need, things that weren't important. He loves to spend. He doesn't understand why I don't want to waste money, and I don't understand why, he doesn't care about how he spends it.

"Whatever Logan."
I say shaking my head, before I turn on a movie.

"Oh come on Kate, I work hard. Why can't I treat my wife? You know other women would be thankful."
My eyes dart in his direction. I hate when he says that. Comparing me to other women. Especially gold diggers.

"I married you, not your money Logan. I hate when you compare me to other women. You know that. If you want a woman who likes you splashing out on them, well then you married the wrong woman."
My blood begins to boil. Gosh he knows how to make me angry.

"Don't be like that baby. There is only one woman for me. No other woman compares to you."

As usual our fight ends in us making up. Leading to me sucking his dick, and rough sex.

You see, no matter what, we always make up. I know it's an unhealthy way to make up, but it's sex with my husband, that's normal. I suppose though, by not communicating, we're not solving our disagreements, but he's him, and I'm me.

Eventually I fall asleep.

"Kate?"
I hear a quiet whisper.
I squint my eyes.

"Yeah?"

"We're here."
Logan says softly.

In an instant, I feel my body being lifted, my head leans against his warm, hard chest.
