He hit him.
Like really hit him.
Ronaldo is stood in front of him in shock, blood running down his nose.

Rome's standing there looking at the ground, and me I'm disgusted.

Instead of doing what I would have done, I walk over, I can barely walk, but somehow I find the energy, the strength. I need to fix this, because somehow I know this is my fault.

"Why did you do that?"
I ask him in a stern tone.

"I'm sorry."
He says in shame.

"Ronaldo, whatever this was over, I feel I should apologise. I'm sure Rome wasn't thinking straight. He's a lot going on."

"Yes he does. Thanks to you."
He spits in anger.

"What the fuck?"
Rome says clenching his fists.

"Well if she wasn't sleeping with both of you, you wouldn't be confused right now."
My head falls in shame.

"You sick bastard. She didn't chose to do that. He raped her. You have no clue what the fuck was going on."
I turn away and run to the bathroom.

"Kate?"
I shout her name but, she's gone.

"Rome, I didn't know."
He looks full of shame, but it's nothing compared to how she's left feeling now.

"He almost killed her. Within inches of her life. He raped her repeatedly. She tried to kill herself, because she thought that was the only way out, and Loreto was the only good thing to come out of it all. It doesn't matter who he belongs to."
And that's the truth. I don't care. He's her happiness from this hurricane.
And he's perfect either way.

"I need to to go find her."
He says running the direction she went.

"Is that true?"
Bree says holding Kaidas hand.
"Kaida, there is a room right there for you to play in. It has a PlayStation too, why don't you go play in there, while me and your Gran talk?"
She gives me a happy smile, and makes her way into the room.

"Yes Bree, it is true. I shouldn't have said anything, but my dad.. He.. He was making out she done something wrong. That she was to blame. When she wasn't. This is none of her fault."

"I can't believe she didn't tell me."

"I thought you knew. She's been through a lot, Bree."

"How did he do that to her? She was with you. You were supposed to keep her safe."

"It was before that, Bree. It was when Kaida was with you. He made her stay against her will. When I found her, when I found out what he was doing, she was in a bad way. I don't think she could have took much more."

"Is that why.. Is that why he killed himself?"

"That, and I think because she tried to overdose the last time he took her. I think he realised that he had broken her completely, and in some messed up way, I guess him ending it, was his way of saying sorry. Maybe he knew he wouldn't ever let her go otherwise."
