"Everything has changed"

Waking up next to Rome the next morning, I felt so happy, and content, the warmth of his body close to mine gave me so much comfort.

He was my home, and the heart is where the home is, finally I felt whole again.

I watched him as he slept peacefully, with his arm wrapped gently around my waist.

I needed to pee, but I didn't want to disturb this moment.

But, it was disturbed anyway, in the most beautiful way. Kaida entered the room full of smiles, before she gently placed herself between me and Rome, causing him to wake with a smile that mirrored hers.

"I missed you." She said softly hugging him, his eyes filled with tears as he hugged her back. "I missed you too." He said with a broken voice, while kissing her on her forehead.

My heart almost melted to mush.

And like he knew he was being left out, Loreto woke.

I picked him up and lay him in between us, in that moment I never felt so happy.

"Why didn't you tell me this before??"
Sabrina said crossing her arms, as she looked at the man before her with disgust, although she couldn't help feel somewhat sorry for him.

"I was scared. I needed to meet him first." The man said back full of deep sadness. "You need to understand, it wasn't my fault. I had no say in the matter, but I can't hold in this secret any longer. He has to know the truth."
Sabrina knew he was right, but that didn't ease her worry any less. She feared this secret being revealed could ruin lives. Although she had no part to play in it all, she still felt somewhat guilty. She felt like she almost betrayed her own friends, in the process of being friends with someone else.

"How do you expect this to play out? Are you ready for the worse case scenario?"
She said knowing that life doesn't always go how you expect, and a persons reaction, isn't always what you'd hope.

"I need to do this. Don't you think this has been hard on me? I'm innocent, yet I know I could be the one to end up more hurt. But, I can't put it off any longer. I just can't."
The man broke down in tears right in front of her. He cried like a baby, and Sabrina knew a good man stood before her, a good man that had been broken because of his past, and she knew as his friend she had to help mend him. Even if that meant risking a friendship she never wanted to lose. She knew she had to do what was right. Although all she could do was hope that it would end happily.
