Prologue

There was always something that drew Luke towards her.

Whether it was her eyes, oh god those eyes, they were all sorts of colors that just mixed together. Like a painting you could look at forever.

Or maybe it was the way she dressed. She always had on dark clothes; black, grey, navy blue (which was only for rare occasions), and because they were always a size too big the sleeves fell right above the tips of her fingers, looking like the sweater was about to swallow her any second. Most people couldn't pull this off, but she could.

Sometimes when she was reading- okay, all the time- she would get so focused on the book and bite the inside of her cheek when something bad happened, or when there was a joke she'd let out a small smile. One of the most beautiful smiles he's ever seen. Then, quickly she'd blush up, looking around the room to make sure nobody saw her.

She was undoubtedly gorgeous and Luke's almost sure he's fallen in love with her.

Yet, he hasn't even heard her speak.
