Taehyung and Jungkook both sat on the patio chair as they were both quiet. It wasn't comfortable or uncomfortable. It was a feeling that the two didn't know how to describe. Well at least for Taehyung. While Jungkook was slowly dying inside and just wanted to disappear in thin air.
"So are we really just going to sit here and not say anything to each other?" Taehyung asked finally breaking the silence between both of them.
Jungkook rolled his eyes just at the sound of Taehyung's voice. It was a really annoying voice that Jungkook couldn't take. "I think silence between both of us is the best option at this point." Jungkook said as he stared and the pool.
The warm breeze hitting his face and the rays of the sun shining on Jungkook making him glow more than usual. A sight that Taehyung found himself admiring without noticing. In that moment he realized the beautiful glowing skin of Jungkook, his pretty pink lips that looked more pretty when they were smiling. His adorable bambi doe eyes that just somehow looked even more gorgeous when the male came at him like an angry little bunny.
The stare that Taehyung didn't go unnoticed by Jungkook at all. It was impossible to miss someone looking directly at you. The feeling making Jungkook feel slightly shy and squirm in his seat. His cheeks starting to feel hot by the second. "Can you stop staring at me." Jungkook finally managed to say.
That snapped Taehyung back into reality and realize that he was in fact staring at the younger male. In a matter of seconds he felt himself being overwhelmed with the feeling of embarrassment. It was if he was hypnotized by the beauty that Jungkook seemed to hold. Why hadn't he noticed this before? Taehyung wasn't sure.
"Sorry." Taehyung mumbled out softly as he turned his attention to his black vans that so suddenly became very interesting to him.
"So...." Jungkook said as he pressed his lips together. His eyes glancing over to Taehyung. "Your fans are vmin." Jungkook stated to which Taehyung only nodded. "So obviously it's your names combine. But where'd the V come from?" He found himself asking for some reason. Not because he was interested in Taehyung's life just wanted to break the awkward atmosphere between the two.
"Oh well I call myself V for Veracious. Even though you may call me fake. I always try being honest with everyone. My family, friends, with my content and especially my fans." Taehyung said. His voiced laced with honesty. That somehow made Jungkook feel slightly sick to his stomach.
"Oh." Was the only thing Jungkook could find himself to say.
"You know I was really surprised to hear you say all those things about me." Taehyung confessed. "It reminded me of when I was first started my channel."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow at him as he sat up straight. "What do you mean? You were the guy that everyone was falling for with his content and personality."
"Kookie. Jimin and I were getting loads of dms telling me that we were fake and saying I was way to cocky. Saying that Jimin and I didn't deserve the subscribers we got. So I always tried to ignore them. They didn't like us and I can semi be okay with that." Taehyung confessed.
"If you were constantly told that.... Why did you not ignore me?" Jungkook asked as he moved his chair closer to Taehyung.
"It wasn't just because I needed you to like me. It was mainly because it hurt... I watched your videos since you dropped your second video and I remember you telling you fans that if you wanted to try YouTube to go for it. It didn't hurt to try." Taehyung said as he looked at Jungkook.
"It was because of you that Jimin and I started making videos. So seeing the person who motivated me say stuff about me like that really stung." He finished. Leaving a taken back Jungkook. Was he feeling bad now? Just a little.
"I-" Jungkook started, but was interrupted by Taehyung's phone going off.
"Hello." Taehyung said. Jungkook only stayed silent as he played with the hem of his shirt. "I got to go." Taehyung said after hanging up. "Jimin needs help with something." He said while standing up.
"Alright." Jungkook said softly.
The two stood still for a while. Just awkwardness like usual. Until Taehyung broke it once again. "Bye Kookie." He said before going back inside the house. Leaving a confused Jungkook alone.
