"We're coming to see you soon," I speak into the phone. "Just popping to see my Aunt Karen, her and Stephen rushed out the party so fast, Its got me on edge" I admit as Hunter slides his hand into mine.

We walk toward my old childhood home, the home Karen now lives in and I smile up at her as she opens the door, obviously waiting for our visit.

I had text her earlier this morning to tell he we were popping by but I didn't get a reply.

"Is there a reason you're coming to see me?" Tara asks through the phone and I nod though I know she can't see me.

"I think I've found the perfect wedding venue," I tell her as I enter the house, kissing my Aunt on the cheek in greeting.

Hunter let's go of me long enough to quickly hug her before we follow her into the living room.

She doesn't seem stressed or worried, the vein from hell nowhere to be seen. "Really? Where?"

"I actually have no idea where it is" I laugh at how absurd I sound. "I'll explain later. Gotta go."

"Toodles." She replies before the line goes dead.

Karen has disappeared, I'm not sure where to, but Hunter tells me she went to make coffee. I internally thank her, craving a caffeine fix.

"You okay?" Hunter asks as I sit beside him on the large sofa.

He turns to me then, moving ever so slowly, our lips connect for a brief second and a memory comes flashing back to me.

"I don't want a relationship Emily, just your body"

His words come back to me, slapping me in the face like a wet fish.

My cheeks heat up and I turn away from him slightly embarrassed.

I remember the exciting rush of pleasure that shot through me and how I was completely and utterly smitten. This man, Hunter Evans wanted me so badly, it turned me on like nothing else.

If he said something like that to me now, I'd probably punch him in the face for how crude and disrespectful it sounds but back then, I honestly couldn't believe my luck. I was a horny seventeen-year-old with a major crush and by some miracle, he wanted me.

It was supposed to be just sex. Now, look at us, practically married already.

I cough in an attempt to clear my thoughts as well as my throat. "Yeah" I reply. "Just thinking about when-"

I'm interrupted when Karen and Stephen enter the room again. My aunt Karen is holding a tray with four different coloured mugs on, each one steaming. "I'm so glad you stopped by." She tells me placing the tray on the small coffee table in front of us. "I've been meaning to call you"

"Yeah? Is everything okay? You left the party in a rush and I was worried." I tell her and she sits down beside Stephen on the sofa opposite us. "Is my dad okay?"

"Of course he is. It was Rachel" She says speaking about her daughter. Her mouth turns into a hard line and her eyebrows crease with worry. "She was staying with Mrs Anderson down the street, I got a phone call to say that she couldn't find her."

"Rachel went missing?"

First she was sick and then missing, something isn't adding up here.

"It wasn't as bad as it sounds, obviously at the time we panicked and rushed straight home, we're in a new place and we worried that she was lost but by the time we got here, she was back, safe and sound" Stephen adds taking a sip of his coffee.
