Ch. 1

Chapter 1:

{Addie's POV:}

I just finished unpacking my last box when the doorbell rang. I ran downstairs to answer the door. I opened the door and there in front of me was my old best guy friend. the one and only Jc Caylen.

Let's start at the beginning. my name is Adalynne. I'm 18, and I moved to California to live with my dad for college. My parents got divorced when I was nine and my dad moved out here to own his own boat business. I chose to live with my mom but made a deal with my dad that when I went to college I would live with him and go to California state.

When I was growing up I lived across the street from Jc but he moved last year to go live in the O2L house. I know all the O2L guys and watch all their videos I just haven't met them in person.

"Jc!" I said pulling him into a hug.

He laughed and hugged back. "I missed you so much!" I said.

"I missed you too." he said pulling away.

Me and Jc dated back in 7th grade but we broke up our sophomore year and he met Lia and now their dating. I'm really happy for him.

"You wanna come meet the guys?" he asked.

"Yeah!" I said. "let me go tell my dad and grab my phone and we can go." I said running up stairs.

I knocked on my dads office door. he opened it seconds later "yes honey." he said... don't let him fool you he actually over uses his power of being a father.

"I'm going to hang out with Jc I'll see you later." I said turning and heading to my room before he could say anything.

I grabbed my phone and ran back downstairs.

"Ready?" Jc asked smiling.

"Yup" I said smiling back. I was really nervous and I had no clue why.

I walked in and all I heard was noise. I heard screaming, singing, and who knows what else. Jc took me to the middle of the living room.

"Scream at the top of your lungs like your gonna get killed." He said sitting on the couch.

I nodded my head then screamed as loud as I could. Everything was quiet except for me screaming. I stopped screaming as all the guys ran in.

"What the hell happened?" Trevor asked panicked.

Jc bust out laughing causing me to giggle.

"Guys this is my friend from Texas, Adalynne, but call her Addie." Jc said.

Everyone said hey, me returning the favor before sitting down on the couch next to Jc.

"Let's play 20 questions." Jc said. "I mean to get to know Addie." he added.

All the guys sat down. I folded my leg so I was sitting criss crossed.

"I'll start." Jc said.

"Why did you have to move out here?" he asked.

"When my parents got divorced I told my dad that I would choose a college to attend and live with him. but then as I got older he took it to his liberty to choose the college for me and the Major I would be studying." I said.

"What did you want to go for." Ricky asked.

"I wanted to go to be in the music industry. I can both sing and play 4 different instruments." I said.

"What instruments can you play?" Trevor asked.

"Clarinet, flute, saxophone and guitar." I said.

"What's your favorite restaurant?" Sam asked.

"Taco bell." I said.

"Jc I approve of your friend." Sam said.

I laughed. I saw Kian smile as he looked at me. does he like me? wait that's a stupid question why would he like me?

"Who's your favorite member of O2L?" Connor asked me pulling me out of my thoughts.

"That's a tough question. if I had to choose probably Kian." I said.

"I see how it is. it's not even the guy you grew up with. love you too Addie." Jc said causing me to laugh.

I looked at Kian to see he was looking at me too. I smiled, him returning the favor.

"Awe look their flirting." Connor said causing me to blush.

"Who wants to go swimming?" Kian asked standing.

All guys said yeah or okay and all walked upstairs. my bikini was under my shorts and crop top. I found my way to the back door and walked out to a huge pool with a nice patio.

I walked over to a chair and took off my flip flops then taking my crop top and shorts off. I sat on one of the lawn chairs pulling my sunglasses down over my eyes.

After about sitting in 10 minutes of silence the guys came out. I heard a bunch of splashing when I heard someone scream.

I sat up to see the guys playing chicken.

"You did not start playing my favorite game without me!" I said throwing my sunglasses on my chair as I ran towards the pool. I cartwheeled across the diving board before landing in the pool. I swam over to the guys.

"That was awesome do another trick." they said.

After me doing three more jumps into the pool we went back to playing chicken. the teams were:

Trevor and Ricky

Connor and Sam

Me and Kian.

Jc decided to sit out as the "ref" really it was so he could stuff his face.

First battle was me and Kian against Trevor and Ricky.

Trevor almost knocked me off a couple time until I pushed and they both fell. I threw my hands up in the air.

"Your pretty good at this." Kian said.

"Why thank you." I said flipping my wet hair.

We beat everyone. we hung out in the pool for a couple more hours then I headed home. best day ever!
