Ch. 20

Chapter 20:

{Addie's POV:}

When I got back in the kitchen I hopped up on the counter, smiling, still admiring my ring. It just felt right knowing he was in the house. As I was sitting there someone knocked on the door frame.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"Just open the damn door." Maurisa said from the other side. I laughed and opened the door.

"So Kians here... And you kissed him!" She said.

"Yeah I guess Connor told you?" I asked... I'll get him back later.

"I thought you hated him! I didn't know that when you hated someone you made out with them." She said. I could tell shes kinda mad.

"I cant help it. He was the first guy I've actually ever loved. What would you do if you fought with Sam and you two broke up then he came back and Cried apologizing. Huh?" I asked clearly showing that I'm getting mad now too.

"It doesn't matter if he spilled his heart out to you and told you his life story he cheated on you and once a cheater always a cheater." Maurisa said.

"How can you try and control my life, like you said awhile ago when I told you about Tony, your exact words were well every one deserves a second chance. You never said oh except for Kian so why does it matter!" I said raising my voice a little more and jumping off the counter.

"Because Kians a bad influence on you if you couldn't tell!" She said

"LIKE SAMS NOT?!?! I DATED KIAN I THINK I WOULD KNOW!!!!! I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT HE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING TO ME THAT WOULD GET ME IN TROUBLE, YOU'RE CLEARLY OUT OF YOU MIND!!!!!!!!" I screamed.

"Ugh. I'm so over this I'm going home." She said walking out.

"Good, see if I care." I said walking off to the basement screen room.

Great I finally get Kian back and it costs me my best friend. All of a sudden my phone went off. It was my friend that used to live here, Kelsey, she moved to New York in 7th grade, we were the best of friends and shortly before she left me and Jc got together.

"Hey girl." She said when I answered.

"Hi" I said sniffling since I had been crying.

"Whats wrong."

"I just got into a fight with my best friend."

"Bummer...I was just calling to see if you wanted to fly out here and stay for the week I'm off school and I don't wanna be here at the apartment all alone."

"Sure I'll ask my mom."

"MOM! IS IT OKAY IF I FLY OUT TO KELSEY'S NEW PLACE?" I screamed through the house being that the basement has vents to the whole house so she should hear me.

"Yeah that's fine." She said.

"I'm aloud" I said into the phone.

"Great see you soon." She said hanging up.

I started packing my bag when Kian came in.

"Hey we booked a flight today instead so I'll see you soon." He said leaning in to kiss me.

"Kian I can't." I said turning back around to my bag.

"You can't what?" He asked.

"I can't date you right now. Maybe some other time but not right now. I'm flying to New York tomorrow, Me and Maurisa are fighting, I just have to much on my plate right now. I love you Kian don't get me wrong but I just cant handle a relationship right now." I said fixing the promise ring on my finger.

"I thought you were getting rid of that." He said smiling.

"Well you said that the promise was that when I saw you again I would still be yours. that's one promise that wont change." I said.

He just smiled and pulled me into a hug before walking out. I finished packing and got a plane out to New York tonight.

When I landed it was night and Kelsey was waiting for me. I ran and hugged her.

"I missed you so much." I said.

"I missed you too. How have you been?" She asked.

"Good, How about yourself."

"Same, I'm single ready to mingle speaking of which you wanna go to the club tonight?" She asked.

"Sure!" I said and with that we got in the car and headed back to her apartment.

"Alright well you can stay in the guest room." She said leading me down the hall. "Now, put on you cutest outfit we leave in an hour." She said shutting the door behind her.

I looked around the room noticing I had my own bathroom. "For an apartment this is sure impressive." I said to myself.

I looked at the clock. 9:45. I grabbed my suit case and unzipped it. I grabbed a short red dress that came to the halfway point of my thighs and put on some matching red heels. I then went to the bathroom to do hair and make up. I straitened my hair and put on eyeliner, mascara, and some eyeshadow. I took a picture and posted it on twitter.

a few seconds after I got many comments and a text from Maurisa.

Risa: Look I'm sorry I flipped on you today. I had no right to try and rule your life. Oh and you look really good in that red dress.

Me: Its okay and thank you.

I locked my phone and threw it in on the bed. I looked at myself in the mirror one last time when someone knocked on the apartment door. "I got it!" I said walking out of my room to the door. I opened it and.....
