They say when it rains it pours, and after Charli and Jay made up started to look up for us. The kids we're going good in school, I was doing good in my last few months of pregnancy, only doing the bare minimum of what I had to do for work, which wasn't much since I made Tammy my second in charge. She's really stepped up to the plate and if I decide not to return after I have the baby, I know she'll do just fine working with these athletes and the nurses. I did tell her what happened and let her know that under no circumstances was any of the other nurses allowed to be alone or accompany him to any events. I'll be damned if I see this shit happen again.

What could go wrong? This shit is what could go wrong...

"Your honor my client believes the children would be better off with family! Real biological family!"

You heard right we're in family court, because the kid's mom, pushed for her sister to fight for custody of the kids. And this broad is actually fighting for them too. A person who hasn't physically seen them in literally 5 years, before their grandmother's funeral is now fighting to take away the kids we are raising. I was agitated that we were actually sitting here entertaining this shit. I looked over at Charli and he looked equally as pissed as I did we had to listen to her tell how she loved these kids and only want the best for them. Bullshit, for someone that loved them so much she sure ain't brought her ass to the house to see them not once.

"Your honor with all due respect we are confused as to why the other party is so interested in getting custody of the children now. She's been estranged from the family for over 10 years. The two youngest kids don't even know who she is."

I smirked as I looked over at their aunt, she was just staring straight ahead as if none of this stuff is phasing her. She knows damn well she can't handle all these kids. And I know for sure Kyra, Kyngston, Ezra, and Sarai would not be happy about going to live with her either. Are we seriously listening to this shit, right now, Terrance whispered to us? Unfortunately, we are! What's her motives because raising 4 kids by yourself ain't what it's about? This has my mom written all over it, she probably thinks there is money associated with getting them. You didn't tell her about the trust funds, did you? Hell...I mean no he whispered as everyone looked at us. I didn't cause I don't trust her either. Even if I did all that money is in trust funds, that they can't touch till they are 21. You still have guardianship rights on them, right? No, I don'! Who does we whisper yelled to him? Yall do, because when the adoption is final, yall will be their legal parents. Terrance you and Demetri! I only control ours, the other 4 is up to yall.

"I've heard from both sides but not the children. Are the children here in the court room?"

Terrance stood up along with the rest of the kids and approached the judge.

"Who is the oldest child? I am your honor! And how old are you? I turned 19 in April, what are the ages of siblings? Demetri is 17 he'll turn 18 in December, Sarai is 14, Ezra is 11, Kyngston is 9 and Kyra just turned 6, your honor. I see in your file that your grandmother and father signed over their rights to you after her death. Yes, your honor. If they trusted you with their rights, why would you want to give up your siblings for adoption? Your honor I don't see it as giving them up for adoption, I see it as giving them a family with a mother and father. Something we didn't grow up with. And why not go with your aunt, she's family? With all due respect your honor prior to my grandmother dying we never saw or heard from her. In fact, the last time I saw her I was about 7 and she was telling my grandmother she was stupid for taking us in after my mom went to jail. Her last words before she slammed the door was "I hope she don't just leave you with her little bastards."
