"OH GOD! YOU GUYS!" Daniel screamed running into our class. I looked up from my Government exercise book. In case you didn't know...exams had started, it started last week Monday...
And this is the last paper.
To be honest, I'd been having heart attacks over these papers especially math! It was as if they were using knife to cut my brain open.
Math isn't a subject I would say is really hard...if you know what you're doing, you know what you're doing...that's what it is all about. Because once you mess things up. Or even one thing. That's the end
But...the math was....let's just say it was really stressful and tricky. But that's what maths all about isn't it?
Now back to present.
Daniel pulled me along with Yimika and Tony from our seats and dragged us to the reading room where Temi was standing already.
"Be fast and tell me what your own is. I have exam to read for" Temi said earning an eye roll from Daniel.
"So....we went for a scan. For cancer. You know I had cancer right?"
We nodded. I was anticipating the worst. Maybe he was dying tomorrow... Or today
"Well....we went for a test again and.....I AM CANCER FREE!" He yelled.
Wait what? He doesn't have cancer again?
for real?
"Are you serious?" I asked. He nodded tears gathering in his eyes "I can live for more than sixty years and not just three four years. I'm so happy" he said.
"Oh my god!" Yimika squealed running towards him and jumping on him. He wrapped his hands around her and hugged for at least fifteen seconds before letting go of each other "T...That was a m...mistake" She squeaked.
He nodded looking away, I didn't miss the look of hurt on his face either.
The tension became too much for us to bear "instead of you guys to stop being difficult. Hug and Kiss then get out! No o, you'll be doing smeh smeh. Mstcheww" Temi hissed walking out.
The girl is mentally unstable.
Tony and I shrugged at them and followed Temi.
I was about to enter the class when he pulled me back "No good luck kiss?" He smirked.
I swatted his arm away playfully "you know it would be messing with your head ehn? Instead of you to be writing your answers in your paper, you'll be writing Yemisi kissed me...Yemisi kissed me....Yemisi kissed me"
"Doesn't matter. I can even write it" He said.
I wrapped my hand around his neck and brought his face to mine. Just as he was about to kiss me, I turned his face and whispered in his ear "good luck" and with that I walked away smiling to myself. I wonder what he'd look like.
"Oya settle down" I heard the teacher say. Everyone ran to their seats including me. Hopefully they don't ask us really hard questions....what if they ask questions that I'd never heard of in my entire life?
"Chill out. You'll do just fine" Yimika smiled at me.
"I don't wanna do fine...I wanna do great. what if they--"
"Don't even start" she glared.
Immediately the teacher dropped the paper on my desk, it was like my whole world stopped. I held my breath and scanned through the paper nervously.
But to my surprise...it was just what I read. Exactly what I read!
What can make a student happy if not finding out that exactly what you read is what came out?
I nearly squealed in delight.
I wrote down my answers in theory and went to the objectives, shading the correct answers. I quickly went through my answers again and then filled in my name, class, school and Date.
Who knew that Government could be so easy?
Especially in SS3 when they're packing everything you've learnt since Nursery, that relates to Government.
"I swear I almost peed my pants but when I saw the question?! I almost shouted" I told Yimika as we walked out of the class
"I can't believe we're done with this paper! Like bruhhhhh I'm done with exams!"
"thank God sha" I smiled.
"I'm borrowing your friend for a while" A voice said. I turned to see Tony looking at me and then Yimika
"Yes...yes....you can keep her sef" she grinned.
He nodded and grabbed my hand, pulling me through a crowd of students before we got to a quiet and class room.
"How was your paper?" He asked.
"Fantastic! Like..ehn? The paper was bae! How was yours?"
"On point" he laughed.
"I'm sure I'm getting an A in this one. Nobody can tell me nonsense" I said
"Baby, you always get A" He said shaking his head.
Come to think of it....

Music ~ A
Home Management ~ A

And many other subjects.
If you're wondering...our school made it compulsory to do further maths.
"Did you just call me baby? Am I your baby?' I asked laughing nervously. He called me baby! Not that I hate the sound of it...I love it. But what happened to cookie?
"You don't like it?"
"I..I do. Its just that I'm.."
"Used to me calling you cookie and that's what imma continue doing" he smirked.
"Yeye boy" I laughed.
"Now....back to the reason why I called you" He grinned.

This chapter is messed up, I think. Its basically like a filler chapter and then we just added Daniel's news and all to add some taste.
