"good morning" i say as jade wakes up, squinting with the sun in her eyes.

"morning" she mumbles cuddling into me.

"did you sleep good?"

"always when i'm in your bed" she smiles.

last night was the first night she stayed over in my house since she was kidnapped, three months ago.

"don't move. stay like that" i tell her before reaching for my phone.

"stop i look so bad right now!" she laughs as i start taking pictures of her.

"no you don't. you look happy"

"you make me happy" she admits, tracing over my tattoo on my ribs.

"that just made my morning" i whisper while playing with her hair.

"about last night" she trails off.

"was it okay?" i ask concerned.

last night was our first time having sex again since the kidnapping.

"better than okay" she smirks, "i just wanted to say thank you, for the last three months"

"for what?"

"for everything. you've been so patient with me and helped me through it all, i can't thank you enough"

"i'd do anything for you" i tell her seriously. as cheesy as it sounds, i mean it. i'll do anything it takes to keep this girl happy and safe.

"i love you" she whispers.

"are you hungry?" i ask, pretending i didn't hear her.

"no i'm fine, i'll get something to eat on the way home" she mutters getting out of bed.

"i said i'm fine" she snaps slamming the bathroom door behind her before i hear the shower turn on.

i was going to order an uber, but the thought of getting into a car with a complete stranger terrifies me.

"i can just drive you" ethan says coming into the living room.

"i don't want to talk to you" i mutter.

"we can listen to the radio"

"i'm not getting in a car with you right now-"

i'm interrupted by a girls laughter in the hall.

"i swear it was the funniest thing i've ever seen" grayson laughs with bonnie, but stops as soon as he sees me.

i haven't seen him since i was kidnapped and i made it very clear that i didn't want to see him.
