"what the hell is this?" grayson asks when i show him the nun costume we got on the way home.

"ethan's ticket out of prison" i smile.

"you have completely gone insane" he scoffs, throwing the costume back at me.

"fuck you gray" i snap, "i understand that you're just as upset as i am about ethan being locked up, but at least i'm trying to do something about it!"

"just as upset as you?" he laughs, "he's my twin brother. i've spent the last 21 years of my life with him"

"oh this is a competition now? seriously gray? i love him, he's the father of my child. i'm sorry i didn't share a fucking womb with him, but i still want him out of prison!"

"you guys are being ridiculous" bonnie gets involved, "jade's idea could actually work, if you would just listen to her" she tries to reason with him.

"it's jade's fault we're even in this mess. i'm not letting her fuck my life up too" he glares at me.

"i can't believe we're actually going along with this" grayson sighs, shaking his head after we arrive at the prison.

it took us a week but bonnie and i finally convinced him to break ethan out of prison.

"i know it's not ideal, but it's all we have" i remind him.

"you're signing yourself up for a life on the run"

"i'd rather that than a life without him" i admit.

"i shouldn't have been so tough on you jade, i'm sorry" he mumbles, "you'd do anything for ethan, he's really lucky to have you"

"i'd do anything for you too gray, don't forget it" i smile.

"i don't understand how you're being so nice to me when i've taken my temper out on you all week"

"it's like you said before, we're family. we might fall out, but i'll always be there for you, because i love your stupid ass"

"i love you too" he smiles.

"looks like it's my time to shine" i fix the gun under my costume before getting out of the car.

"be careful please"

"i always am" i assure him, "make sure you're here to pick us up"

"i will be, don't worry" he says before i close the car door.

i smile at the officers as i walk past them at security with an ak-47 under my costume. they smile and let me pass through without any hassle.

"excuse me ma'am!" an officer stops me.

"is everything okay?" i ask him, trying to remain calm.

"are you here to see an inmate?" he asks me.

"yes, his name is dolan. ethan dolan?"

"i'll have him brought down to the chapel"

"thank you" i smile before walking away.

my heart is beating out of my chest.

i get to the chapel and wait patiently for ethan. i haven't seen him or spoken to him in a week, and it's been the longest week of my life.

he had his phone privileges taken away because he was involved in a fight, which had me even more worried.

but all of my worries quickly fade when the doors open and he walks into the chapel.

the officer takes his cuffs off before closing the door, leaving us alone.

"i missed you so much" i run into his arms, hugging him tightly.

"i missed you too baby" he whispers.

"are they stitches?" i ask while examining the cut above his eyebrow.

"the other guy looks a lot worse" he assures me.

"are you sure you want to do this?" i ask him, taking the gun out from under my dress.

"i want to spend the rest of my life with you and lucy, not locked up in here"

"kill anyone who gets in your way" i tell him seriously, "just do whatever you have to do to make it home to us"

"i will, i promise" he pulls me in for a kiss, "you make a sexy nun" he slaps my ass as i'm leaving.

"i'll keep the costume" i smirk before walking out of the chapel.

the officer enters the chapel shortly after i leave. that's when i hear the first round of shots go off.

i quickly get out and meet grayson in the car at the back of the prison.

"how did it go?" he asks me.

"exactly as planned. ethan has the gun, he should be out soon"

"you know if he doesn't make it out, they'll kill him?" he reminds me.

"he'll make it out"

we wait anxiously for what feels like hours before we see ethan running towards the car.

"go!" i yell at grayson and we speed off as ethan jumps into the back of the car.

in a blur of excitement i climb into the back of the car, diving into ethans arms.

"i can't believe we just did that" i laugh.

"thank you" he says seriously, "you risked everything to get me out of there" he brushes a strand of hair behind my ear.

"i'd do anything for you, you know that" i smile.

"i love you, so fucking much" he grabs my face, pulling me in for a kiss, until the noise of police sirens interrupt us.

"shit" grayson panics, "there's a lot of them" he says, looking into the rear view mirror.

"i've got it covered" ethan rolls down his window before shooting at them.

"you've got about 5 minutes to lose them before they've a helicopter following us too" i warn him.

"i'll take the back roads" he assures me before taking a sharp turn.

if we're caught now, there's no hope for any of us.
