Aleigh sat on her stool in the wretched basement she tortured and murdered her victims in. Her recent target was strapped on a bed, knocked out. Aleigh felt no remorse for her kills. She found murdering desirable, it was almost lustful. She had been cleaning her knife, since dark spots of blood was still on it from her kill before Jacob was a target. Aleigh met Jacob in such an odd way it was almost magical. The brushing of their skin, the light touch of their fingertips, their eyes grasping each other. A stare so intimate, that it was impossible to break. The fact his emerald green eyes pierced her dark brown eyes was almost like she had fallen into a deep sleep and was dreaming. But this was no dream. It was real, very real. Jacob had been a tough target, to capture. He always seemed to disappear which made Aleigh's attempts to capture him, a bit more harder. Aleigh only wanted to kill him but Jacob has something about him. Something that she can't deny. They both can feel it in their veins.

She knew it couldn't be true. She couldn't love, could she? Aleigh didn't love anything, not even her parents, and she happily murdered them in cold blood. Even, if Jacob fell in love with Aleigh, he would reject her faster than Aleigh could kill him. She could feel that he would be awaking soon. He stirs in his slumber. Aleigh was slightly afraid for his was a different type of person than all the ones before him. His muscles flexed in his sleep. His body was so toned, it was sexy and beautiful. Jacob was something new. Something unexpected. She watched him flutter open his eyes. The emerald orbs piercing into her. He had no emotion, no expression. He stayed silent, staring at her. Aleigh felt somehow connected to the boy who laid in front of her. "Don't be afraid." She whispers enough for him to hear. "I'm not afraid." He simply spoke. Aleigh was shocked by his words and tone. Everything about this scenario, was too much. She needed to kill him, but she wanted him alive. As for him, Jacob didn't want to live nor die. The man himself was orphaned similar to what Cotton endured. "What do you mean?" She asks. The shock causing her voice to crack. She shivers slightly as she did so. "You plan to kill me, don't you?" He asks, eying the knife in Aleigh's shaking hand. "I did. But I don't think I can kill you." Aleigh says, placing the knife on a table.  Jacob studies Aleigh for a moment before saying anything. "Well what are you going to do Aleigh?" The questions burns in Aleigh's mind, like a stove burn. "Let you go." She says unwillingly.

Aleigh's breathing slows down as he studies her for another moment. Everything about Jacob kept Aleigh from her true intentions. "You love me, don't you?" He asks curiously. Aleigh stumbles back, tripping over a box and landing on her bum. His question caught her off guard. ''I'll take that as a yes." He says with a chuckle. She smiles at his words unknowingly. "Do you love me?" She says in hopes of getting the same answer. Not knowing what Jacob was going to say, Aleigh became uneasy. Jacob smiles, his smile was a rare sight for anyone and everyone. Only one thing can make Jacob smile and that was her. Her beauty intrigued him. She was a mystery. Disappearing into the depths of the shadows, hiding behind a four walls, talking as if she came from another time. As mysterious as they both were, it was no mystery that they found each other. This made Aleigh question how she met him. The feelings that kept her from doing what she set out to do. Jacob questions his insanity a million times more than Aleigh will. At this moment in time, Aleigh was anxiously waiting for an answer. Jacob had his answer, perfectly worded out. He just needs to speak those words. "Aleigh, from the time I met you, I couldn't help but notice that you were beautiful and mysterious. I liked the way you disappear into the shadows, or hide away like you don't exist. And the way you talk as if you were from another time. A time most do not remember. I love everything about you." Jacob says. He doesn't miss a word, doesn't leave out anything, says it without a mistake. Aleigh's heart flipped in happiness. A smile appeared on her face. A smile that went from ear to ear. A smile that Jacob loves seeing especially on someone as beautiful as she is.

There was one thing that Aleigh was forgetting. The straps that held Jacob down. "Oops, I've almost forgot to undo the straps. Lemme do that real quick." Aleigh ran to his side. This girl is one of a kind. He thought as she undid the straps. He sat up as he stretches. She watches in admiration. He adores a girl like that. Which Jacob hasn't found many. "Can I ask you one question?" He asks. She stands up and crosses her arms in response. "Why do you murder?" The question wasn't as quite as painful as the others. Mainly, because it was her domain. She had an advantage is this. An opportunity to tell all. Aleigh sits next to him. "Do you want me to start from the beginning? Or no?" She asks. He just nods, as interested as he was, he wanted to know everything. "Okay, I was little about 7 or so, and I found myself enjoying horror movies. I loved seeing people get murdered in such gruesome ways. I made my first kill on a girl that picked on me at school. I followed her home. I snatched her book bag and she looked at me as if she was going to beat me. She didn't say anything, neither did I. I pushed her up against a tree. She made a grunting noise. She tried to get out of my grip but I happened to be stronger than she was. Adrenaline rushed through my veins and I swung the book bag. It hit her temple and she fell with a thud. Blood welled from the gash. She died instantly. The blow to her head was enough to make her bleed to death. From then on I began killing people." Aleigh told him everything. Jacob understood her reasons for killing so many.
