Jake wanted to learn more about the severe injections so he stayed behind at the hospital to ask Lou more about it. "Lou? Can I ask you a quick question?" Jake calls to the busy Doctor/Biker. "Yes? Sure. What is it?" Lou says not looking up from his clipboard. "What do you mean severe injections? I'm confused as to what that meant." Jake asks. Lou looks up. "Both of the Reynolds children, had trouble breathing, and maintaining a regular heartbeat. Their parents had several injection's done on the children leaving scars. Why do you think Axel and Cotton are similar? If you watch their breathing patterns you can see its the same as well as their heartbeats. They could be considered as twins but because of the nine year difference between them, they are not." Lou explains. Jake understood. "So another words they both had irregular breathing and heartbeats?" Jake says more as a statement than a question. "Precisely. Be careful with Cotton. She's quite little and her breathing is very shallow. Try not to harm her or frighten her. It could cause several problems. Also, pass this information onto Jessica." Lou says in an ordering way. "Of course. I'll be going now." Jake says as he's leaving but Lou grabs him back. "I want you to meet someone." Lou prompts. "Hmm sure." Jake says.

Lou led him down to a room. An isolated room to be specific. It was locked and barely a light shining inside. Lou unlocks it and clears his throat. ''What is it Lou?" Says a mean voice. Well the voice wasn't but the tone was a bit harsh. ''Kaleb, I want you to meet Jake, he's an old friend of yours. Someone you perhaps remember. If not, I'll see what else I can get to bring your memories back." Lou says in a brave enough voice. Kaleb, a dark haired boy, with long hair to be exact, and milk chocolate brown eyes walks over to Lou and Jake. Kaleb is no older than sixteen. The same age as Jake. "Hello, I'm Kaleb? You?" He held out his hand for Jake to shake. Jake gradually shook his hand and spoke. "I'm Jake." Kaleb made a mental note of his name. "Come in." Kaleb says to Lou and Jake. "Gladly." Lou smiles. Jake follows Kaleb and Lou slowly. "So do you know me?" Asks Kaleb in hopes of regaining his memory. Little does he know, he's going to be the one that harms Cotton. "I remember you. You were always hanging around with my girl and her best friend Jada. Always getting us in trouble. Some said you were Jada's brother but no one looked into it.'' Jake smiles. Lou and Kaleb where both hoping for a breakthrough. Maybe Jake was that breakthrough. Kaleb smiles. "I think I remember something, Jada is my sister." Lou couldn't help but think that this boy was none other than Ace's son. The one he plans to use on Cotton. "That's great. But I best be going. I need to tell my fiancé something." Jake walks out with Lou behind him. ''Bye!" Kaleb calls out after them. "Bye Kaleb." Lou relocks the door and walks away.

Jessica, Cotton and her brother Axel were sitting in the living room casually talking, when an angry Johnny busted through the doors. "Hey Johnny!" Jessica waves at him. Cotton to burries her head into Jessica's warm chest. ''Hi." He says in a disgusted voice. ''What's wrong?" Asks Jessica, noticing the hostility and anger that surrounded Johnny. "What is a biker doing talking to my girl!" Johnny snaps. Axel laughs. ''This biker has a name and Cotton is my sister." Johnny doesn't believe a word. He grabs Axel by the collar of his shirt. ''Liar!" He growls. Cotton yells. "He's not lying. He's my brother! Johnny let him go! Please." There was already tears in her eyes. Johnny let go of Axel immediately. ''Sorry." He mumbles. Cotton looks defeated, so she ran, ran upstairs. "Cotton wait!" Johnny ran after her but Jessica stops him. ''Leave her alone.'' She growls. "But I-i didn't know.'' Johnny says sadly. "Its okay, talk to her tomorrow.'' Jessica smiles. Johnny agrees with a glare at Axel and walks to his own bedroom. "I'm going to go. Good night Jesy." Axel kisses her cheek and leaves. "Night Axel." Jessica says and locks the front door, then walks up stairs.

Cotton was crying into her pillow. "Baby?" Jessica says quietly. Cotton looks up. Her eyes red and puffy with tears all across her cheeks. "You okay?" Jessica asks as she gently sits on the bed. "No." Cotton whispers. Jessica lays next to Cotton. ''Johnny, he didn't know about your brother and he's not to fond of Axel.'' Jessica explains. Cotton was starting to calm down underneath Jessica's loving touch. ''Why!" Cotton asks sniffling. ''Axel and him never got along. They always fought. But they'll have to get along for your sake." Jessica tells her. Cotton turns over to face Jessica. "Do you honestly believe that?" Asks Cotton. ''I do." Jessica smiles. Cotton smiles back. "Why does all men get angry so quickly?" That was a question even Jessica couldn't answer. "Jealousy? I assume. I really don't know Cotton.'' Jessica wings it. "Yeah, now can I sing you something?" Cotton asks. "Hmm sure." Jessica smiles.

Cotton sat up and intertwined Jessica's fingers with her own. She starts out small but becomes higher and better.

"The small patterns on the line.

It's just for us.

Whenever we separate, I know all the hate will disperse.

And all the love that we have will never disappear.

Because I know they'll be okay. They'll understand someday.

They'll find out why.

Why we never went farther.

They'll find out why we never bothered.

But what I'm thankful for is the friendships I gained.

Even when it rained, I still had hope that sun will shine.

Just like you and I. They'll be okay. They'll understand someday. Someday.

We will never be that far apart cause we have each other in our hearts.

They'll be okay. They'll understand someday. Hey yeah yeah."

The lyrics, her voice, everything is so strong and beautiful. Nonetheless, perfection.

"Wow Cotton, you have serious pipes." Jessica smiles. "My grandmother and my mother were strong singers. My grandmother was high soprano and my mother was second soprano and I'm medium soprano." Cotton explains where she got her singing talents from. "You should be a singer." Jessica suggests. "Ah maybe I will. I want to be successful not only with the Institute but with music, and films. I wanna be successful in everything." Cotton says. Jessica could see the hope in her eyes. Jessica knew there was a star in Cotton and that star was coming out.

"And you will be!"
