Jake went to check on Jessica. But was greeted by John. "Hey Jake I've got some bad news." John informs him. "What is it?" Jake asks wanting to check on Jessica. "Jessica has been admitted in the hospital." John replies calmly. "What why?" Jake asks. His worry was going through the roof now. "Stress." John simply states. "She is stabilized for now. But I advise you not to go near her for a couple days. The Doctor doesn't want anymore stress added on her. Or it could be potentially dangerous to the baby." John adds before he disappears into his own room. Jake couldn't move a muscle, he was in to much shock. Cotton who was listening in the hallway behind him, comes up behind him and hugs him. "Daddy, she'll be okay." She says almost breaking into tears. Jake turns around and picks up the small girl. He goes into their room and locks the door. "What are you doing?" Cotton asks a little frightened. "Cotton, your gonna help me." Jake says to her. Cotton tilts her head. "With what exactly?"

Jake looks down at her little hands and then back up to her pretty little grey eyes. "With escaping." Jake says. Cotton flinches. "W-what we can't just leave mum!" Jake grabs Cotton and pins her down. "We're not leaving your mum. I am. But you're going to have to help me escape." Jake says to her. Cotton nods. "Why do you want to leave?"

Jake needed to leave to make arrangements with Ace and get something special for Jessica, Cotton, and the unborn baby. He couldn't tell Cotton or it'll ruin the suprise. So he came up with a brilliant lie, a believable lie "I'm going to see my mum." Jake tells her. "Why can't I come?" Cotton asks. "Because you're mummy is gonna need you." Jake smiles at her. Cotton smiles to. "Do you really believe mummy needs me?" Jake couldn't get over how beautiful Cotton's eyes were. They were incredibly similar to his own. She really could have been his daughter. "Of course baby. I will only be gone for a few days." Jake says to her. "A few days can feel like an entire year." Cotton says pleadingly. Last time he left her, it was horrible. She couldn't stop crying. All she wanted was him and Jessica. Now he's leaving again. A repeat is about to happen. "Baby I need to see my mum." Jake tries to explain to her. "But what if mummy doesn't want me? And wants you?" Cotton was pulling out all the stops. She was pleading for him not to go. "You and mummy will be fine." Jake smiles at her. She sighs. "Alright. I will help. But promise me you'll come back?" Jake nods and grabs a suitcase. "No matter what. I'll come back. I'll come for you. I'll come for your mum." Jake says as he puts his clothes into the suitcase as well as a few shoes. "I love you daddy." Cotton says with tears falling down her cheeks. Jake picks her up and kisses her forehead. "I love you too baby." He says almost in a whisper. As soon as a the suitcase was filled. He slid on a pair of boots and a coat. "Get your jacket on and some boots." He told Cotton. She nods and grabs a pair of white cowboy boots. She goes into the closest and puts on a white coat. She comes out ready to show him the way.

"You ready?" He asks her. Cotton nods unsure of his plans and what he was going to do outside the walls of the camp. She knew something was up. In her mind, she decides to follow him without him knowing. "Yes." She says with a big heap of breath. Jake looks at her with a unsure expression. "I know your scared but you have Johnny, Kaleb, and Joshua here with you. They'll protect you while I'm gone." Jake says to her. She nods. "Okay." She walks out into the hallway. Almost immediately followed by Jake. She goes down the stairs. Her boots clicking on the hardwood floor. Janis runs into Cotton. "Hey where are you going?" She asks Cotton. Jake hid himself in a nearby closet. So Janis wouldn't figure out what they were up to. Cotton already had a plan in place. "Going to see my brother." Cotton smiles at Janis. Janis smiles to. "Awe well good luck. And if it gets to cold out there, just stay with your brother." Cotton smiles. "Of course." Janis kisses Cotton's forehead and proceeds to go upstairs. As soon as she was gone, Jake came back out. "Whew that was close." Jake sighs as they walk outside with his daughter. "Let's just get this over with." Cotton says. It was still daylight outside. So they had to use the warehouse to get out. Considering the warehouse had a backdoor, that lead straight to the back gates. Cotton enters the empty warehouse. She calls Jake in. Jake scans the warehouse seeing no one was there.
