Note: This is an important and crucial chapter for the story. It determines Cotton's fate as well as Jessica's. It will determine so much. Wonderful how this book came together, thanks to a brilliant idea from a show, I dared myself to watch. Well the bikers was the idea. Luckily, this is all apart of the Institute, Cotton now owns. Let me clear up a few things about this book, hencing the title and description. The title, 'Mask Murderers:Unleashed, just means Jessica and Jake are undergoing a serial killers make. The description speaks for itself, as the chapters for 19 and so forth contemplate the story. Needless to say that the climax, plot, Characters, ideas, and so forth are Mine. Also the novel itself is going to be quite long. So brace yourselves pups. I trust you with my novel. Don't disappoint me by stealing. Thank you for reading.
The Meeting.
John confidently strode into the conference room in the higher levels of the Institute's main building. Anabelle, the bikers including Lou, Sommers, her parents, and few of Ace's gang sat neatly at the maple wood table. It looked like there were only two people missing, Ace, and his darling daughter Jada. As soon as John walked in, everyone stood up out of respect. Considering, the consequences they'd receive if they don't. Cotton owns the Institute and all correspondences, that gives John his authority over all of them, including Ace's gang. "Sit, we will wait for Ace. And then we can continue with the meeting at large." He demands with a firm hand as he places himself in a high chair. The people oblige to his orders quietly. A few minutes later, the man everyone dreaded to see walks in with the small petite Jada by his side. Everyone stood up out of respect except John. "Sit." John commands them both. Ace let's out a snort of disgust as he does as he's told. Jada sits next to Anabelle. "Now that we're all here, let's begin." John gets up as he finishes his sentence.
"I know you are here from the girl am I correct Mr. Hartman?" John addresses Ace with no respect at all. Ace stands up meeting a horrid glare from John. "I am, I advise you to give her up before I call my gang to tear, your family limb from limb." Ace says threateningly. John is only amused at his threat. Knowing Ace doesn't have the power nor people to do so. Let alone find where the family is at. Since its all secluded from the outside world. "I can do the same to yours. Seeing you brought Jada to this meeting." John sneaks a mean glare at Jada. Jada avoids eye contact with John. For he always detested her, because of Ace, he father. "I had to. I was hoping you'd bring along your youngest daughter but seeing you did not, it was a mistake to bring her." Ace looks defeated at this point.
"Perhaps, Anabelle take Jada to the waiting room as far as I'm concerned, this child shouldn't be in here without a solemnly good reason." John orders Anabelle. Anabelle nods and takes Jada by the arm and out of the tense conference room. "Sir. Angelo you may speak." John addresses Sommers quiet father. Sir. Angelo nods and gets up. Without glancing at Ace, he addressed him cautiously. "I'm aware of your want for the girl, but what do you want with the child?" Sir. Angelo was a straight forward kind of guy. He was perfectly blunt and honest. His questions were carefully planned and recited. "I want her so I can get the information I need about her parents Institute and her to sign over the Institute to me as it should be." Ace has expected this question so he carefully prepare a good answer although he doesn't want Cotton for two things, He wants to abuse her in all ways evil using his only son, Kaleb. Kaleb was all his father. Everything about the boy, featured Ace. It gave John a bad feeling.
"I fear that's not the only reason you want my niece." Sir. Angelo growls. Sir. Angelo had a terrifying temper, even Ace was afraid of. The only person that could calm the man was his sweet wife. That's why he dared to bring her to the meeting despite the murderous gang sitting on the right side of the table. "Maybe or maybe not. Why does that concern you?" Asks Ace quietly but intimidatingly. "Again she's my brothers daughter, therefore she's my niece, my property." Growls Sir. Angelo. John could tell that Sir. Angelo was getting angry. He never kept control of his anger. He let it sore free. Unless his wife was around and he'd settle down his anger and control himself. "True, but isn't she underneath the guardianship of John's youngest daughter? Not yours." Ace presses. This was a touchy subject for Sir. Angelo. He had an opportunity to take Cotton under his wing but she didn't want that. She insisted on finding the right parents. And she did. "Does it matter Ace! You're in no position to argue with me! So I suggest you keep your filthy hands away from my own! Understand?!?" Sir. Angelo yells. Ace backed down as he didn't want to go any further with the man. ''Understood." Ace replies and directs himself towards John.
"If you do not give her up in three days time, I will be forced to harm every living being in this room and your family. I hope you choose wisely Mr. Nelson." Ace growls at him and snaps his fingers at his gang members. The members stood up and followed him out. "Good day." He calls out with mischievous smile. John shook off his heebie jeebies he got from the man. "What did he say?" Asks Lou and Sommers in sync causing a few slight laughs from the bikers and a few giggles from Anabelle and Sir. Angelo's wife. "I have three days to hand over the child and he said if I haven't then everyone and my family will suffer the consequences." John answers.
One of the bikers named Axel stood up. "Father, he cannot do that! I won't let him!" Axel growls at Sir. Angelo. "Easy Axel. He can't get to her not yet anyways." Sir. Angelo says as calmly as could. Axel's anger was resurfacing as he took his seat again. "John, I'd advise you to move your family to another secluded place and stay hidden for a while." Sir. Angelo says. John knew the dangers in moving to another place but luckily, Romford was a place where even Ace doesn't have members in. "And Axel?" John addresses the angered biker. Axel looks directly into his eyes. "Go on." Axel says bluntly. "Your sister is going to be just fine." John says and leaves the room.
(COTTON HAS A BROTHER! DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING? DID YOU? HAHA I AM SO MEAN)
"And that concludes this meeting." Sir. Angelo dismisses everyone and they walk all except him, his wife and Axel. "Axel?" Sir. Angelo approaches Axel cautiously. "Yes?" He answers looking out the window. "Go to her." Sir. Angelo simply states and walks out with his wife. Axel understood what he meant. He had to go to Cotton. His only sister, his best friend and the one who matches him perfectly. Axel knew she's going to need him.
I'm coming for you Cotton. He silently says and walks out.
