Chapter Thirty-Two: Kidnapped

-Time Skipping to 3 months later-

Parris was getting herbs from the forest when she felt like she was being watched, next thing she knew she was kidnapped. When she woke up, she couldn't move. She was strapped in a chair. A very uncomfortable chair. "Ha she's awake." Says Jada as she walks into the basement. What the hell! Where am I?  Her thoughts were swirling around in confusion. "What the hell! Jada get me out of here!!!" She screams. "I can't." Jada shook her head. Suddenly, a big and buff man came down the stairs. He had a blond quiff and a nice looking face. He was a good man. "Hello, names Ace. You are Parris? Am I correct?" Ace asks. Parris just nods. Not daring to answer mostly cause she wanted to murder whoever put her in this chair. "Answer girl!" He raises his voice causing Jada to jump. ''I am Parris! What the hell do you people want with me!" She yells. Her voice sounded so much like Pear's to Jada. Well Parris and her are twins. "Father, I'm going to help mother with dinner. She reminds me to much of her sister." Jada glares at Parris. "Go on." Ace points to the door.

''You don't like me do you!" Parris screams at Jada. "You know what Pear never loved you! She hates you! You were the reason she died! Jada you'll end up just like her and Nate!!! Jessica will kill you! And she won't hesitate!" Parris continues. Jada stops walking. Ace just watched. He looked amused. Not knowing Parris and Jada hated each other, kinda confused him. Jada turns around. "Maybe so. But at least I never got her raped! Parris you're nothing but an overpaid biker. I honestly believe Cotton's gonna get rid of you! Or maybe Jessica." Parris flinches at her words. "Doubt it." Parris replies with no emotion. "Oh please you don't know that family. At least not like I do." Jada screams. "Cotton's no killer and Jessica barely knows me." Parris snaps. Her emotions were tied against the chair just like she was. "She knows your sister. Remember this Parris, Your sister bullied her." Jada smiles and walks up the stairs.

"Well that was awkward." Ace sighs. "She and I have never gotten along." Parris replies. ''Seems like it." Ace says. "Anyway your probably wondering why your here?"

Parris nods. "Yeah. Why?" Ace swings his wrench on his fingers. ''You're going to provide me information on Cotton Reynolds and her odd family." Ace replies. Parris kept quiet. "Tell me something about this baby? Who is having a child?" Ace asks. She still kept quiet. "Come on girl!" Ace snaps. His patience was wearing thin. ''Fine. Jessica Nelson is having a baby with her soon-to-be husband. She's only four months. Almost five." Parris says. ''Thank you. Tell me how does Cotton feel about the transition from being an only child to having a brother or sister." Ace asks. "She's thrilled but she's not an only child. She has an older brother but he was recently in a bike accident caused by Jessica. He's currently in Acoma." Parris says. This information was new to Ace. But a piece of information like this meant he could take out two birds with one stone.

"Thank you." Ace says and walks away.

"Wait! What do you want with me?"  Parris asks. Ace turns around and smiles. "You're going to tell me exactly what I want to know."

Jessica had an appointment with Lou. To have an ultrasound for the baby. Jake was supposed to be coming with her but he wasn't with her and Cotton when she woke up. She just figured he was doing something for her. She yawns and stretches out. Cotton shifts in her sleep. She loves to curl up into a ball to get warming. Jessica loves how she does it. Jessica took a picture and sent it to Jake with a text. Look at our princess sleeping. She's soo cute! ♡ - Jes.

"Cotton baby, wake up." Jessica whispers into her ear. Cotton swipes at Jessica playfully. Jessica giggles. "Come on baby." Cotton slightly opens her eyes and yawns. "Why mummy!" She says as cute as she could. "Because I have an appointment for the baby." Cotton put her little hand on Jessica's baby bump. "What do you think it is?" Cotton asks. "I'm hoping a girl." Jessica smiles. "Well let's go find out shall we." Cotton smiles. "Of course." Jessica takes Cotton in her arms and walks out of her room and right into Jessica's father. "You off to your appointment?" Asks John. "Yes." Jessica replies. "May I come with you?" John asks.

Cotton was glad he was so formal it made him have an amazing persona. "Yes dad you can come. Don't have to ask." Jessica smiles. "Want me to take her?" John asks when they reach the door. It was almost Christmas and the snow was building up. "For a minute. I wanna carry her." Jessica hands Cotton to John. She put on her white coat and grabbed Cotton's cheetah printed jacket. "Can you put her in this?" Jessica asks. "Yea." John says as he takes the jacket. He gently, carefully and skilfully put Cotton's arms in both of the jacket sleeves. She was half asleep. "There." He kisses Cotton's forehead. She smiles. Jessica smiles to. "I suppose you want her back now?" John says to Jessica. Jessica nods. "Yea I do." She takes Cotton again and they walked out the door.

"Ahh!! You're here!" Lou says as they walk into the hospital. ''Where's Jake? I thought he was supposed to be coming with you?" Lou asks as soon as he noticed Jake wasn't there. "I figured he went out to do something." Jessica says with an unsure smile. ''Hmm.. probably." Lou went quiet. "But shall we get this ultrasound over with?" Lou adds. "Yes please." Jessica says. "Right this way." Lou walked a bit faster than Jessica anticipated and accidentally ran into Kaleb. "Oh sorry Ma'am." He says making sure she didn't fall or drop Cotton. ''It's okay. It's a bit tough being pregnant and holding my daughter at the same time." Jessica says but with a smile. Kaleb realized she's carrying Cotton. "Oh! You're Cotton's mum?" Kaleb says before he could take it back. "Yea you know her?" Jessica asks a little bit taken by surprise. "Yea I believe I met her about two months ago. She and I took a walk and she told me about her family and Axel." Kaleb replies. "Well since I can't do an ultrasound with her in my hands, mind helping me with her?" Jessica asks. "Sure." Kaleb takes Cotton out of Jessica's arms. Jessica and Kaleb walked side by side to where Lou and her father were. "Ahh there you are and I see you have met Kaleb." Lou says with widened eyes. "Yea I did. Just ran into him. It's hard to carry her and watch where I'm going." Jessica says with a smile. Lou glares at Kaleb. "Well she is getting bigger. She's not going to be small forever and well neither are you because the baby will be much bigger in another few months." Lou says to her. "Yea sucks sadly anyway can we get going with this ultrasound?" Jessica says looking at Cotton who seems to be liking Kaleb. She doesn't usually adjust to people that quickly. Jessica guessed it was because of the walk they took.

"Yea. Right in here." He opens the door for all of them. Luckily, John and Kaleb could sit down in the chairs. Jessica props herself onto the bed. "Can you lift up your shirt?" Lou asks. Jessica nods and lifts it up so he could put the gel on for the ultrasound. "Thank you. Now this may be a bit cold but only for a moment." Lou says as he rubs the gel onto her bump. He sat at the table with the computer and ran the ultrasound thing across her belly. "Hm, the baby is growing fast and healthy. Do you want to know the gender?" Asks Lou. "Hold on just a minute, Dad wake her up, I know she wants to know." Jessica says to John. John shook Cotton and she swipes at him like she did her. ''I said wake her not shake her. She doesn't like being shook." Jessica snaps. John laughs bit. "Sorry." Cotton just opens her eyes. "What! If you shake me one more time I swear I'm going to punch you!" Snaps Cotton. It made everyone laugh including Kaleb. Cotton looks up to see him. "How do we end up in situations like this?" Cotton asks. "I have no idea but you're mother needed some help and I gave her some. You're very heavy sleeper ya know.'' Kaleb smiles at Cotton. Cotton unknowingly blushes. "Cotton come here." Jessica says. Cotton got out of Kaleb's arms and walks over to Jessica.

"Now you can tell us!" Jessica smiles at Lou.

"It's a girl." Lou smiles at them. Jessica looks at Cotton. "Yay!!!!" She almost screamed. Cotton jumps. "Sorry babe!" Jessica says. "It's okay! But hey I am getting little sister!" Cotton says shaking her head.

"Yea you are." Jessica kisses her cheek.

"I can't wait to see her and hold her!!" Cotton smiles.

"Me neither!" Jessica cooes.
