Cotton wiggles out of Jessica arms shamefully and looks at Jake. She shakes her head. ''You shouldn't have been so angry with her. She didn't do this on purpose. It'd be your fault for not using protection." Cotton says to him, remembering his angry actions about fifteen minutes before. "I know, but I wasn't expecting to have another child when I didn't even want the one we have now." Jake says. He was speaking the truth. He in all reality didn't want Cotton. Cotton and Jessica both were taken aback by what he said. Cotton looks down and says. "It's always nice to know the truth." Then, she walks out, tears were forming in her eyes. Jake tries to go after her but Jessica stops him. "How could you!" She snaps at him. Jake just looks at his fiancé. She looked worn out to him.
"I didn't mean to say that." Jake tells her. She of course did not believe him. "I don't believe you." Jessica went walk out but Jake grabs her back. "Are you serious?" He asks. Jessica didn't say a word she pushes him back and walks out after her daughter.
"Cotton? Where are you?" Jessica yells through the house, but nothing made a sound. So she went outside. Cotton was sitting on Axel's bike. She and Axel were speaking. Jessica inches closer to hear their conversation.
"So lemme get this straight, Jake said he didn't want you in the first place?" Asks Axel. Cotton nods. "Yeah." Axel sits on the bike next to her. "Do you wanna take a ride?" He asks. "Of course. You know I love bike rides." Cotton smiles at her older brother. "You should have been a biker then." Axel smiles. "I think I already am. Now come on let's take that ride." Cotton pushes.
Axel starts up the engine and rides off.
Jessica runs out. Which caught Axel by surprise and he swirls around to avoid hitting her. He pushes Cotton off the bike before he hit the side of the warehouse. "Oh my god!" Jessica screams as Axel falls off the bike. Cotton ran to him. "Axel!!! Are you okay?" She says in a panic. Axel wasn't responding. Cotton looks up at Jessica who stood above them, tears were falling to the ground. "Get Lou!!!!!!" She screams. Jessica ran to the hospital building and found Lou attending to a patient. "Lou, there's been an accident." Lou looks up and speaks. "Who was in the accident?"
Jessica catches her breath before speaking. "Axel." Lou's eyes widened and ran outside to see a crying Cotton and a battered Axel. Jessica follows. The horror in front of them was enough to make you queasy. "What happened?" Asks Lou as he kneels down to feel Axel's pulse. ''We were going for a ride and she ran out and Axel didn't want to hit her and he ran into the warehouse." Cotton explains so fast you could hear her hiccups blocking her trachea. Her voice was strained. She was caught in so many things it was hard for her to breathe. "Come on let's get him in the hospital." Lou helped an unconscious Axel up to his feet with the help of the girls. Lou laid Axel on a bed in a secluded room. He had his nurses hook him up to the monitors as he observed his injuries. ''Sedate him Parris." He orders a black haired woman. Jessica tilts her head in confusion. "Isn't your name Pear?" She asks Parris. Parris looks at Jessica for a moment before speaking. "No. That's my sister's name." Her voice was so similar to Pear's but there were differences between the two. ''Are you twins?'' Asks Jessica.
"We were.'' Parris says as she puts the sedation medicine in the IV. ''What do you mean we were?" Jessica asks. Parris looks at Jessica with a look like she wanted to murder her. ''She's dead. She died almost a year ago.'' Parris replies and takes off the latex gloves and discards them into the trash can.
''And apparently so did our brother Nate. Neal is the last of my family.'' Parris says. ''Although they never found Nate or Pear's murderer. I wish I knew because if I did me and Neal would have peace for the first time since their deaths.'' Parris adds in with a sad shrug. "I'm sorry love. You'll find out soon enough." Jessica smiles at the woman. "Don't worry Cotton you're brother is going to be just fine.'' Lou says with a smile. Cotton stood in the corner. Her eyes bloodshot. Something wasn't right. Jessica ran. She was going to throw up for the hundredth time. Cotton slid against the wall. Hands in her hair. She was going through a traumatic experience and this was the only way she knew how to cope. She tugged at her brunette locks and began screaming. Lou held his ears and so did Parris. "What's going on?" Asks Parris to Lou. ''It's a coping magnesium. She does it when there's trauma." Lou replies quietly.
After about fifteen minutes of ear screeching screams, the screams stopped. Cotton looks up and tilts her head at Lou and Parris. They're all dead. Screams a voice inside her head. Cotton's grey eyes went black with madness. Her rosy skin went pale within the dark which outlined her features. Her clothes seemed to have gone pitch black and leather. The ten year old suddenly didn't seem ten anymore. "Cotton, are you alright?" Asks Lou as he backs away from the child. Parris beside him. "No! I'm not!" Her voice was so dark and evil sounding it sent chills down their spines. She was not Cotton. Her inner self was revealed. And it was hungry for blood.
"Cotton we sho-uh oh." Jessica says as she sees an angry Cotton and two frightened people before her. She looked mean as hell. "Let's just go.'' Screams Cotton.
Jessica jumps at her scream and just agrees.
"It's okay Cotton." Jessica picks her up. No! It's not okay! Everyone is dead. The voice echoes in her head. ''Everyone is dead." She says stopping Jessica in her tracks.
"What?" Jessica asks her.
'Everyone is dead' She repeats.
