The Avengers were all suiting up, prepared to get rid of the newest uprising villain.

They needed everyone they can to take down this massive magma. This villain had lava and fire on their side, plus many people that were brainwashed into praising him because of fear they would be burnt alive.

As everyone finished suiting up they boarded the Shield spacecraft. Even though the threat was on earth, some planets got hit too with the massive lava spikes. They had the Guardians and Captain Marvel on it (Scott was helping too with the quantum realm) but the Avengers never knew if they suddenly had to go up and save a planet.

Ah, the joys of this job.

Two Shield agents guided the ship through the skies in camouflage. The Avengers would've driven but they all knew this mission was going to be difficult. They would be lucky if even one of them hadn't got seriously hurt. And they needed at least two people to guide the plane if something were to happen to one. So Shield sent out their people, Nick Fury was on his way too. All of this was going to be life or death.

But then again, which Avengers mission wasn't a life or death situation? It's just some missions have a higher chance of failure and death, and some don't.

Currently, all the Avengers they could get on this mission followed as the main six, Stephen/Dr. Strange, Rhodey/War Machine, Bucky/Winter Soldier, Sam/Falcon, Wanda/Scarlett Witch, and Peter/Spider-Man.

Everyone was trying to get their game up, some tried to focus such as Natasha, Stephen and Bruce.

Some tried to calm down and get ready, such as Clint and Wanda.

However, Tony and Steve were worried for their son. Peter, who was quietly waiting in his seat and looking out the blast/bulletproof window.

Peter had done many missions before. He was there, fighting the biggest villain they had too, Thanos. He did get snapped but everyone is back now, they all fought for their lives in the final battle against Thanos, and won. Luckily no one had to die.

Most of the time Peter had school or something his parents used as an excuse to not let him go on a mission. Nick Fury's exact words were "The kid graduated two years ago."

Now, Tony and Steve brought Peter on missions all the time because they had no excuse to keep their son safe and Shield would send him anyway. Plus, he does fantastic on missions along with everyone else.

This still scares Tony and Steve. That's their son. Someone they've cared for ever since he was brought into this earth.

They don't know what they would do if they lost him again. Ever since that incident were most of them faded to dust.

Still remembering the heartbreak, they pay extra attention to their son (not that they weren't before).

Steve worried in his head. He knew damn well all the Avengers could take care of themselves along with Peter but he always looks at him and sees the little toddler he once took care of.

He felt a hand on his and saw Tony who gave him a reassuring look.

"We'll all be fine. And I'm sure as hell he'll be fine. Don't worry about it." Tony said
