Summary:
Tony and Pepper are having a baby. But before they do they speak with Aunt May about Peter so their child can have a big brother.

Someone knocked on the door as Aunt May was cooking and Peter was setting the table.

"I'll get it. Watch the food." Aunt May said and quickly went over to the door, opening it to reveal Tony and Pepper

"Oh. What a nice surprise! Please come in Tony and Pepper." Aunt May said and held the door for them as they walked in

"Thanks May." Pepper said and Tony nodded

Peter looked into to the dining room from the kitchen

"Oh hey Mr. Stark. Hi Mrs. Potts." Peter said

"Hey kid." Tony said and Pepper nodded "What's that smell? It's delicious."

"We are making some Italian pasta. Please join in. We made so much by accident anyway and it would've rotted in the refrigerator if you hadn't come." May said

"I guess we can join in if it isn't too much trouble. At least let me help with cooking." Pepper said as she and May walked into the kitchen

Peter walked out with more plates and utensils as he placed them around.

"Let me help kid." Tony said and took some plates

"Mr. Stark you know I'm seventeen now right? I'm not going to be a kid next year." Peter chuckled

"Of course I know your seventeen, I was the one who hosted your surprise party and scared the daylights out of you, regardless of your spider sense. And no, no matter how old you are, even if you are technically an adult by law next year, you'll always be a kid." Tony said

Peter smiled at that as they finished setting the table and the two woman came out, setting the pots on the table.

"Mrs. Potts is setting the pots." Peter and Tony simultaneously and looked at each other in slight shock before cracking a smile

Pepper rolled her eyes while smiling with May as they all sat down.

"So. What beings you two here?" May said as she handed around the pots so they could individually place food on their plates

"Oh. I almost forgot." Pepper said, nodding at Tony who handed Peter a shirt with a note on it

Peter looked confused as he unfolded the shirt to see "Best big brother" written on it and an arrow pointing upward

"Does this mean..?" Peter said

"Oh my goodness! You're pregnant!" May said and looked at Pepper who nodded

"Yeah and you're the big brother. But if you want you can just be called a family friend or sitter if you're more comfortable." Tony said

"Are you kidding? I'm going to be the best big brother ever!" Peter said excitedly making everyone smile as he opened the note

"Incase you don't get it (which I highly doubt) here's an ultrasound picture. - Mr. Stark and Mrs. Potts." Peter read out, May looking excitedly to Peter's side to see the photo

"This is amazing. Congratulations!" May said happily and Peter nodded

"Well technically we are having two children." Pepper said

"What?!" Peter said in shock and May smiled knowingly "Twins?"

"No Peter. This child is...your age." Pepper said

"What?" Peter said

"I haven't talked to you about this yet Peter but you know how I'm leaving to Paris for a job opportunity. Me and your uncle have always wanted to travel around the world and we never got the chance. So I'm doing it now for him." May said

"Yeah, and you know I support it." Peter said

"Yes, which I am so grateful for, but I couldn't help but think about you. How this would affect you. I'd try to pay for your rent as much as I could but what if I couldn't? What if you struggle without an adult because you needed advice? What if you get seriously hurt and you don't want to burden anyone and be in pain? I don't want that ever for you." May said "I know you are such a grown boy now but I still see you as a little boy. So I need to leave knowing everything will definitely be okay for you."

Peter slowly nodded.

"So..I talked to Tony and Pepper about it and.." May said and glanced at Tony

"We are getting a new baby but we are also adopting a seventeen year old boy we think of as a son." Tony said, sliding over the adoption papers and a pen "Sign here."

Peter stared wide eyed as he looked at the papers.

"I think it's best. It's obvious Tony has been a father figure for you over the years and Pepper a mother figure. Now that they have a new baby you can finally have a sibling to look after and help them with. I know they care of you and you care for them. They will support you and you'll help them with all this baby business. I can't think of a better outcome to this." May said

Peter looked at her and his shocked face didn't fade.

"Listen. Peter. You don't need to sign the papers. We will still take care of you. You don't need to come live with us or anything. We just want you to know we care for you." Pepper said

Peter looked at her and Tony who looked hopeful before quickly grabbing the pen and signing the papers.

"Done. Of course I'll live with you guys and be the best big brother ever." Peter said like it was obvious and everyone smiled

"Great. Now you have to call me dad." Tony joked

"Okay dad." Peter said right back shocking Tony

"Kid I wasn't serious." Tony said "You don't have to."

"Does it make you uncomfortable?" Peter asked

"No. I actually. Call me dad." Tony said after clearing his throat

"The only one who can make Tony more uncomfortable using a comment he made is Peter and Pepper." May laughed as the dinner went on

"Mrs. Potts can you please hand the pasta sauce." Peter said

Pepper gave him a look.

"Mom. Can you please hand over the pasta sauce." Peter said and she did with a smile

"You even got the mother look down now." Tony said

"It's not like you didn't get used to being a father a couple years ago when you met Peter." Pepper said

They all laughed and made jokes throughout the night.
