Lance sat in the blue lion, just chilling. 

Well lance wont lie, he was thinking of home. He was thinking off how much he missed his home. How much he missed the beach. How much he missed the rain. How much he missed his family.

Lance wanted to fly straight to earth and return home for an hour, letting them know he was ok and how much he loved them. But he knew he couldn't put them in danger. He knew he had to stay in space helping to win the war. 

He couldn't help but chuckle when he looked to the walls of the blue lion hanger from the screen. He didnt know how or when but it seemed pidge painted a small beach on one of the walls. She did it for every lion hanger well apart from hers. The team joined up after finding out pidge pained one of each lion hanger with something they missed. Well she printed the shape out and just sprayed paint over it but she still did it for everyone. They painted part of the green lion walls with as a forest with a night sky over the forest and stars. 

For keith she painted one of the red lion walls with a desert so he felt like he was at his shack again. For Hunk she paint one of the yellow lion walls with his family kitchen making him feel like he was cooking with his parents again. For shiro she painted one of the black lion walls the hill that showed the base since he would stand with Adam in that spot once a week. Then lance she painted a beach but not just that, she added a small tap in the sea part of the painting and if he turned it then water fell from the ceiling making it seem like it was raining. He loved pretending he was at the beach with the fake rain she made for him. It always cheered him up and placed a smile on his face. 

Lance looked at the beach and smiled no longer feeling as down as he was before. Since he was distracted he didnt notice as pidge walked into the blue lion who always let pidge enter just like the other lions did since she was the one to keep them in uploaded and repaired. 

"lance" Pidge said with a small voice making him jump.

"Pidgin" Lance grinned as he turned to her.

"you ok" Pidge asked as she noticed his sad eyes.

"yeah just missed home but I'm good now thanks to you" Lance smiled.

"thanks to me" Pidge chuckled.

"yeah your beach painting really keeps me smiling" Lance smiled and pidge smiled.

"I'm glad, well hunk said food was done and sent me to get you" Pidge smiled kindly.

"are you asking me out on a date" Lance said with a goofy smiled waiting for her to zap him like normal.

"yeah" Pidge giggled with bright eyes shocking him.

"wait what" Lance yelled in shock making her giggle.

"I keep you a space by me, lover-boy" pidge said with a sweet smile and wink at lance before walking down the blue lions steps.

"hold on" Lance yelp as he turned redder then the red lion as he chased her.

"well we could always just go to my place instead" Pidge said with a flirty smirk and wink at lance as he caught up to her and she poke him in the chest before spinning round and kept walking towards the dinner room.

"Katie" Lance blushed and she just giggled.

"coming  .. sharpshooter" Pidge said with a smirk but said his nickname in a tease before turning the corner.

"oh I'm gonna show you no mercy" Lance grinned and chased the short girl.
