"camping" Shiro asked as he sat leaning on the small cave wall.

"yeah, i never went camping and this is kinda like camping" Pidge smiled brightly as she placed her helmet in the middle of the cave before sitting opposite shiro.

"i dont think your helmet can count as a campfire" Shiro grinned and the girl shrugged.

"maybe its make believe" Pidge grinned and the two chuckled.

"you think the others can track us with our suits" Shiro asked as he notice pidge open up her arm halo.

"you want the truth or the lie" Pidge asked with a small smile.

"truth" shiro sighed.

"we fucked, what ever shot our ship messed with everything electrical" Pidge replied with a frown.

"maybe we should try and see if we can find anything or maybe a town" Shiro siad with a small smile.

"shiro, we on a volcano planet, anything that might have lived on this planet would be dead or long gone" Pidge sighed and turned to the entrance of the cave, seeing the burning, cracked and dying planet. 

"we cant just sit here until we die" Shiro replied as he stood up looking outside of the cave.

"i didnt say we would but we need to be careful this planet will be slowly poisoning us" Pidge siad with worry and stood up, picking up her helmet. 

"we take it easy" Shiro smiled gently to the girl who nodded back.

"lets go" Pidge smiled and the walked out the cave they took shelter in.

Shiro and pidge walked the safeties rote pidge could come up with on her Halo after she did a quick scan of the planet. They held each other hand to steady the other since the ground was breaking off and dip all over the place.

"Katie" Shiro said with worry as he notice she been holding her side since they crashed landed a couple hours ago.

"yes, takashi" pidge asked turning to him while still trying her best to not trip.

"lift your hand" Shiro ordered with worry.

"no" pidge replied.

"Katie, please" Shiro begged in a soft voice, he stopped walking and turned to the shorter girl, concern filling his eyes. 

"dont freak out" Pidge said with worry as she slowly lifted her hand up. Her black gloves soaked in blood and the white armour that once was protecting her side was now in her side.

"Katie" Shiro whisper with horror as he looks over the wound.

"I'm going to be ok, we reach the signal point and the team be able to save us" Pidge smiled gently and started walking again, her other hand keeping pressure on her side and the other holding shiro hand again.  

"you should have told me" Shiro said with a frown.

"you would just freak out and baby me, I'm a paladin takashi, i can handle an injury while we find a way to get help" Pidge mumbled back.

"baby you" Shiro asked puzzle.

"you often baby me during missions, its annoying when I'm the only one who dont get dangerous missions or get trusted is the difficult ones .. even lance does more then i do in battle" Pidge hissed, the whole team notice how shiro acts differently towards her.

"I'm not babying you" Shiro argue back.

"you send lance to shut the hanger doors on a galra .... Lance out of everyone in the team you pick the one person who couldn't even guess that the stick not the button would close the hanger door" Pidge said with an eyebrow lifted.

"ok, you got me there but i wasn't babying you" Shiro sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"then why do you keep pushing me away, I'm a paladin just like you" Pidge pouted but winced as paid shot from her side.

"Katie, i just dont want to see you get hurt" Shiro said with a small voice.

"I'm not as weak as you think  takashi" Pidge said with a frown.

"i know but your important to me and i want to protect you" shiro said with a gently smile and kind eyes.

"takashi, i have those i want to protect myself and your one of them but i cant protect those important to me if you keep me back" Pidge said with a soft smile. 

"I'm sorry, i just let my emotions take over" Shiro frowned.

"we all do but just remember i never get hurt because i always got my hero with me" Pidge smiled sweetly as she laid her head on his arm while they walked.

"hey Katie" Shiro whisper with a smile.

"yes takashi" Pidge smiled.

"once we get back to the castle and your all fixed .. lets grab a milkshake together"  Shiro nervously asked with a gentle smile.

"i love too" Pidge smiled softly and squeeze his hand.
