"Katie" Matt yelled with fear as he turned to his sister fighting a group of sentries with her Bayard alone. 

He wanted to help but he was in no shape to fight. His left hand holding his side where his deep wound bleed. His right arm around Shiro with shiro left around his shoulders. Pidge ordered her brother to dragged the passed out leader of voltron to the escape pods and she would cover for them. 

"Go" Pidge yelled as she sliced another sentries down with hate. 

"you better be in the next pod after us" Matt yelled with worry and started limping, dragging shiro but keeping a tight hold on him. 

"Just get out of here, I'm not going to lose my favourite boys today" Pidge yelled down the hall shocking matt.

"two" He thought and turned to the passed out shiro he was in charged of. 

Could his sister crush really be the black lion paladin. He didnt match her discerption she told him but he never notice it as shiro before. He knew he had to get shiro to the castle since he didnt want to give his sister a reason to cry over another guy. 

 Matt soon sat shiro down in the escape pod and looked back to the empty hall, his sister really wasn't letting one sentry pass her to keep them safe. 

A small gentle proud smile placed on his lips as his sister the green paladin of voltron fought all those galra sentries without fear. He kept his eyes out the door window and the pod shot out and he pressed on his com to talk to the other paladins.

"Paladins of voltron, this is matt I'm in the galra escape pod with a passed out shiro .. one of you lazy bums wanna pick us up" Matt grinned and heard a couple chuckles over the com. 

"I'm free, just hold on" Keith replied.

"understood, I'm gonna need someone to pick Katie up when she pods out" matt siad with a small smile.

"wait pidge is still on the ship" Hunk asked with fear.

"she was holding the sentries back to give me and shiro time to reach the pod" Matt said with worry.

"the ship gone in self destruct" Lance said with fear and Matt looked at the ship he just came from.

"god no, please dont do this to me" Matt cried and watched as the ship blew, the red lion grabbing the pod and flying away with a fast speed as matt cried watching the ship left over float around.

"I do a check, pidge is smart I'm sure she jump of the ship somehow" Lance siad with hope and used the blue lion to look away.

"allura please tell us you can see her suit signal" Hunk begged.

"I'm sorry paladins but pidge is gone offline" Coran siad with worry.

"we got a couple pods set up for matt and shiro, please bring them to the castle" Allura spoke in a low voice. 

FLASHBACK....

"SHIRO" Katie giggled as she jump on the man back without excitement.

"hello Katie" shiro chuckled as he slid off his other shoe  kicking his shoes to the side of the Holts doorway.
