"you die" Pidge yelled with fear and her eyes full of sadness.

"and you wont" Lance yelled back with worry and anger. 

"I dont know" Pidge said with a frown.

"neither would I unless I try" Lance said with a sadden frown looking to the ground as pidge looked to the sky.

"just let me go, I dont want to" Pidge started to say with a small voice but was stopped by lance.

"I'm going and you cant stop me" Lance hissed at the short girl his age. 

"I wont let you" Pidge hissed back since she knew it was a death mission to go alone.

"stop me and I never forgive you" Lance warned and the girl frozen at the thought of losing the man she loved by saving him.

"then hate me, I rather you hate me then watch you die and getting left behind" Pidge said with a sad smile and love in her eyes as she walked towards him.

"Katie" Lance said with worry as he realised what he did but the girl was already hitting him with the back of her sword handle making him pass out before she ran into the titan mess hoping to close the gate to save many lives.

"lancey" six year old Katie giggled as lance opened his eyes to see her pretty hazel eyes.

"hey pidgin" seven year old lance smiled brightly making his blue eyes sparkle.

"my name Katie not pidgin" Katie pouted and placed her hands on her hips.

"and my name lance not lancey" Lance grinned back as he stood up.

"wanna head to the river with me" Katie asked with a sweet smile.

"sounds good to me" Lance smiled and held Katie hand as they walked.

"hey lance" Katie said with a small smile.

"yeah Katie" lance asked.

"you think I marry my prince charming when I grow up" Katie asked with a small smile.

"prince charming" Lance asked.

"my father use to read me a story when I was little about a princess always getting a prince charming but sometimes normal girls still got princes charming's .. you think I find one" Katie asked with a sad smile as she remember her father, he died a year ago from a robbery on his way him. Katie never met her mother who died during birth and now she lived with her older brother matt. 

"well prince charming's fall for the most beautiful girls in the world and in my eyes Katie you are the most beautiful girl ever .. I'm sure they marry you" Lance smiled brightly.

"then I marry lance, your way better then any prince charming I ever meet" Katie smiled brightly making lance grin like a idiot with a small blush on his cheeks. 

"its a promise" Lance grinned and pidge giggled as she nodded.

" a promise" Katie smiled.

"titans" Katie said shocked as she watched the titans walk through the broken wall towards the town.

"we need to go Katie" lance said with fear as he grabbed the ten year old girl hand and started running.
