Meet You There

"This venue is huge!" I gasped as I walked out onto the stage. I felt a bit weird. I was headlining the show in all ways but the way that mattered - actually playing as the headliner. I was the opener and that was it. My name was on the sign outside like I was the star. But I wasn't. "I changed my mind."

"No!" My manager, Daisy, said quickly. She was sick of my indecisiveness over this tour. "You need the exposure here and this will be huge once it gets out."

"There's no way my name will sell out this place." I said shaking my head. The show was tomorrow and even though I had a pretty decent following, most of my fans were in New Zealand and the US. Australia was completely different.

"Well you already have!" Daisy laughed. "And you can't back out now. The tour has already been paid for and we're already here."

"Fine...." I walked to center stage and looked at what would be the crowd tomorrow. I definitely couldn't sell out a place like this. This was the biggest place I ever performed in. All my shows were always really really small.

"Come on, we've gotta go meet 5sos now." Daisy grabbed my elbow and pulled me off stage. I sighed and stumbled after her, feeling more and more nervous with every step. I was about to play the biggest show I'd ever played and now I was about to meet a band that had to lie about who was headlining to play shows this small.

Daisy led the way to the back of the venue. I heard them before I saw them. They sounded like they were having fun, laughing and talking and goofing off.

This woman walked up to us and gave me a very scary look. "Can I help you?" She even sounded scary. The four boybanders stopped their giggling and looked over at me and Daisy.

"Uh I'm Lennon McCaffery I was just-"

"You're Lennon McCaffery!" A pretty girl standing between the very tall boys. She seemed really excited.

"She's cool, Helen." One of the guys said waving his hand at her. Helen backed off but she gave me a warning look before she went to talk on the phone.

"Okay...." Daisy said slowly, "Uh so Lennon, this is 5sos, Luke, Ashton, Calum, and Michael. That's their stylist Sheldon."

"Hey." I waved quickly, "It feels weird actually standing in front of your guys now. We've only talked on the phone."

"Well it's nice to meet you in person." Ashton said smiling. He was kinda cute. He looked really nice and he had some muscles. I could only see them because the T-shirt he was wearing was kinda tight.

I only knew a little bit about this band but I was pretty sure he was the drummer. Only drummers had those kind of muscles.

I looked at the rest of them. They were all kinda cute. Michael had a nice smile, and Luke has amazing curly hair. Calum had the sweet smile and the amazing curly hair though it wasn't as long. I didn't realize I was only looking at him until Daisy cleared her throat and his eyes met mine. My breath caught and I coughed to cover it.

"Anyway! I'm looking forward to touring with your guys and Uh....I gotta go now because....Gotta get my hair done." I scratched my hand and felt a bit awkward. I was already nervous and now I had to deal with spending every single day looking at this guy?
