Calum

I pulled Lennon into my room when we got to our hotel in Melbourne and closed the door before anyone could follow us in. She raised her eyebrows at me and I felt like I was going to burst. I felt warm and a bit embarrassed and I hadn't even said anything yet.

"What's with you?" She asked falling onto my bed before she scooted into the pillows. She was still sleepy.

"I stayed up all night with Daniel." I blurted, feeling actually really good. You know the way you do when you get something new and you can't wait to use it.

"What did you do with him?" Lennon sat up on her elbows now curiously.

"Oh well...." I thought about it and realized we did a whole lot of nothing. "We talked...."

"Boring." She laughed teasingly.

"No! It was good!" I insisted even though it didn't sound like anything. "I learned a lot of things about him and I'm pretty sure he was flirting with me."

Lennon laughed again and it made me feel self conscious. Did she know something I didn't know? Oh god she found out if he was gay or not didn't she? He probably wasn't and I was just too into him to notice he was just being nice.

The good feelings I had were gone. They were replaced with doubt and nervousness. What was I supposed to do now?

"That's great, Calum." Lennon said grinning. She didn't notice my mood shift. "Can I go to sleep here or would that bother you?"

"Oh I-"

There was a knock on the door. Lennon curled up in my bed to go to sleep. I opened the door and found Daniel holding coffee. I'm not sure but I think I gasped when I saw him. His hair was messy and his glasses were a bit crooked and he looked a bit disheveled.

"Coffee?" He asked breathlessly. I nodded because I didn't know what I was supposed to say to him. I stepped aside for him to come in. He moved passed me and put two coffee cups on the dresser by the TV. He looked at Lennon and I saw something in his face change. She was in my bed.

It most definitely was not what it might look like.

"So uh....Daisy and Hellen said to be at the venue around three to check it out." He said getting down to business. I nodded and Lennon gave a thumbs up without moving anymore. "I'll um....let you two...." he didn't finish but he left quickly.

He definitely thinks Lennon and I are messing around. Did he care though?

"You should follow him." Lennon mumbled.

"Why?" I asked, wanting to go after him, but not really positive what I'd say to him.

Lennon sighed and got out of my bed like it was a burden. "Because he's gay and I think he likes you." My heart jumped into my throat for a second. Before I could try to respond she left my room and closed the door behind her. Was she going after him? Should I follow her?

I fell back into my bed and found it was really warm and comfy. I was reminded suddenly that I had stayed up all night. I was tired.

I could go to sleep for a while. I had a few hours to myself. It was only about 8am. I closed my eyes and I was about to give in to sleeping when there was a soft knock on my door before it was pushed open slowly.

"Cal?" Daniel asked noticing I was lying on my bed now. I liked how he said Cal. "Lennon said you needed something."

I sat up a bit and tried to come up with something I could need. "Oh, just....are you busy right now?" What was I doing exactly?

"No....I was just about to see if Daisy needed anything else before I went to go to sleep actually." He scrunched his nose up.

He looked like he didn't want to do anything else. He looked tired. I had kept him awake. I wasn't going to ask him to do anything.

"I was just wondering...." what was I wondering? I was wondering if you wanted to sleep in here next to me. I was wondering if you wanted to watch a movie with me maybe. I was wondering if you liked me as much I felt like I liked you. "You can hang out in here if you want."

"Okay." He said with a smile. I was surprised by his answer but he seemed perfectly comfortable with the idea of spending the morning in my room. "Just lemme check with Daisy first and I'll come back."

He left as I nodded. Fuck. What do I do now?

I tried to look casual while I flipped through tv channels. I just felt so awkward and nervous.

When he came back though I was fine. All the nervous energy was gone. He sat next to me on the bed and we flipped through the TV channels together. We made fun of the cheesy morning talk shows and commercials.

He fell asleep though. I didn't realize it until his head fell against my shoulder. I froze a bit. His head was on my shoulder. I hadn't even realized he was sitting close enough to me to reach my shoulder.

I looked over to him and saw his glasses were crooked on his nose again. Should I take them off of him? Would he wake up?

I took the chance and slowly pulled them off his face. It made him shift but he didn't wake up. He just turned his face into my shoulder.

Should I put my arm around him? Would he like that?

I set his glasses on the bedside table before I focused my attention to the TV. It was the best thing I could do to keep from thinking about how jittery I felt.

I don't know when I fell asleep, but the next thing I knew Sheldon was hitting me with a pillow. I curled up in a ball to protect myself and ended up elbowing Daniel.

"Sheldon stop!" I grabbed her pillow from her and I heard her giggle.

"It's time to wake up." She said nudging my arm. "You can cuddle later." Daniel sat up quickly and I saw him fixing his shirt, which had twisted around him, and he flattened his hair like he'd been doing something he shouldn't have.

I handed him his glasses before he scurried out of the room.

"We weren't cuddling." I said sitting up now. I felt my cheeks burn a bit because I didn't actually know for sure.

"That's not what my phone shows." She said actually showing me a photo of Daniel asleep with his head on my shoulder and his arm thrown over my waist. We were cuddling.

"Delete that." I said quickly. All of the guys used her phone and any of them could see that. She looked like she was going to tease me until she saw how desperate I was.

"Okay." She said letting me watch her do it. "I won't tell don't worry."

"Thank you." I said quietly. I don't know why I felt like I was going to start sobbing. We weren't doing anything wrong and I didn't even know if he meant anything by it.

"Hellen wants you at the venue." She said, carefully changing the subject. I nodded and pulled on some shoes. She waited for me to be ready and we left my room together. "Anyway he told me the other night he thinks you're cute."

That made my heart do a little stupid flip. I hated it but at the same time it meant I had a chance and I wasn't completely losing it for a guy who didn't even like me back.
