Ashton
I sighed watching Sheldon and Lennon scamper off to her makeshift booth so she could have her hair fixed. Apparently I sighed too loudly because the other three looked at me.
"Get over her." Luke said shaking his head, "You've ruined enough of her relationships she clearly doesn't want to date you." That hurt my feelings.
"I dunno. I think he should keep trying. She dated him once, maybe some day she'll want to again." Michael, always the hopeless romantic. Of course that's exactly how I felt but I wasn't going to voice that opinion.
"She doesn't want to date her boss. I think it's fair." Calum said. He was making a deep thinky face while scrolling through his phone.
"Right and he should respect her wishes." Luke cut in.
"Or maybe she wants him to chase her." Michael glared at Luke before Hellen came back up to us.
"Alright, we are going to stay in a hotel as per the request of Sheldon and Daisy, Miss McCaffrey's manager." Hellen said gesturing to a cute girl next to her. She had dark red hair in a short asymmetrical haircut. She couldn't be any taller than 5'5.
"Daisy?" Michael asked, "Michael." He shook her hand. Calum and Luke did the same before turning to me. I smiled before realizing it was my turn.
"Oh sorry, Ashton." I shook her hand and she introduced herself as Daisy Winters. She had a familiar accent. She was about mine, or Sheldon's, age. My mind wandered back to Sheldon. I audibly sighed again and Calum shoved my arm.
"Dude." He grumbled to me. This was for sure out of hand.
We waited in the venue for about an hour before Sheldon re-emerged from her makeshift booth. She had her hair pulled into a ponytail and a pair of scissors in her pocket with a comb. She was continually brushing the front of herself off.
"God, I feel like I'm coated in hair." She chuckled. "So are we all gonna sleep here tonight? If so I get the balcony." She pointed over her shoulder in a very serious way before cracking a smile.
"Hellen!" Michael called her, "We're ready to go to the hotel!" The reverb in that room was mind boggling.
In the car I had put my arm around Sheldon out of pure habit and Sheldon had her hand on my leg, also probably out of habit. And we stayed like that until we pulled up to the hotel. It was shockingly nice, even for our standards.
"Hellen, how could we afford this?" Luke asked as we walked into the crystal encrusted foyer, it was seriously intense.
"Well since you guys are from Sydney I asked a friend of mine to let us stay in his hotel for free. So that budgeted money went to this hotel because I knew you'd be jet lagged." We all thanked her in mesmerized unison.
We were lead up to our rooms. We all had our own rooms. On the roster Sheldon was supposed to stay with Lennon's hair stylist but apparently she didn't have one. So we all lucked out.
After a brief nap we woke up in the late evening. I know you're not supposed to nap when you're jet lagged but it was irresistible after doing the fall test.
"What for dinner, fellas?" Sheldon asked looking through a menu that the hotel had provided.
"Are we allowed to go out?" Calum asked, "Because it is Thursday." I hadn't realized that it was, in fact, Thursday. And Thursdays are for the boys. Sheldon rolled her eyes.
"Just be back by tomorrow." She shook her head, "and yoga tomorrow morning. I will not have you all hung over for your first show." She stood up to go to her own room, "I guess I'll just ask Lennon if she wants to hang out."
"So where are we going?" Michael asked leaning in after Shel closed the door behind her. The conversation dissolved into 'nah not that place' and 'too crowded we'll be spotted' and one 'I was banned from that place' coming from Calum.
"I drank too much once and then my card wouldn't work." He shrugged. We all rolled our eyes.
"Let's just stay here and drink." I suggested. They didn't love the idea but that's what we ended up doing. "I bet Sheldon brought at least one board game with her." She loved board games, literally the only thing she loved more was card games.
I started to get up to ask her but they pulled me back down.
"Thursdays are for the boys!" They all slurred together. After about 5 more drinks we all went to bed.
Let me tell you, Sheldon wasn't kidding when she said we were all going to do yoga. She came in my room at about 7:30 am and played an obnoxious noice from my phone before placing it across the room.
To begin with I had a raging headache. And then I had to get up and turn off my phone. And I couldn't see either because I have shit eyesight. So I was just tapping my phone over and over again guessing where the off button was. I ended up turning my phone completely off.
I sighed and sat down on my bed. Right as I started to lay back down Sheldon re-emerged and clapped her hands in an annoyingly loud way.
"Come on, Ashy!" She said loudly. I looked out my door and saw my poor band mates sluffing after her towards her room. I decided to follow.
Yoga was fun but primarily I was looking at Sheldon's butt. Usually I would refrain, she had a boyfriend and she didn't want to date her boss and, I dunno, maybe she wasn't into me and I was gaslighting myself. But today I was literally dying and watching her twist and contort into the poses was making me feel better.
"Alright boys, you're free. Let's go get coffee." She said after turning around and seeing us all not participating at 100%. For example Luke was sitting on his mat in one of the stretching poses that we started with, and Mike was literally asleep on his stomach. Me and Cal were at least keeping up with her, some of us better than others, but it wasn't my fault I was dizzy and kept falling down.
The boys meandered back to their rooms, before I could follow Lennon came in and started talking to Sheldon. I kept trying to leave but Sheldon was trying to tell me something and told me not to go anywhere.
"We are going to get coffee on the way to the venue, do you want to join us?" Shel asked Lennon. Lennon looked confused for a second before realizing that she was talking to her.
"Oh! Yeah! Sorry, I'm a bit tired, I would love to come get coffee!" She said happily, "I'll go get changed!" She scampered off leaving me and Sheldon alone again. Did I just witness Sheldon asking out Lennon? Is that what Sheldon wanted me to know?
"Miss Harris the third, did you want to tell me something?" I asked after a minute of her just rolling up her yoga mat.
"Oh! Yeah! You're almost out of hair gel." She said, "I guess you'll have to go curly again." She shrugged and ruffled my hair. I rolled my eyes.
"I'll put in an order for more." I said turning to the door.
"You've got a lot on your plate, I'll do it." She said. She always hated the slicked back look., she preferred the natural wave of my hair. She didn't even like the red hair dye. I didn't trust her to put the order in.
