On Monday, Oli practically ran to his locker. He was so excited to see if there was going to be another letter today. He hoped so.

He had spent the entirety of Sunday forcing his brother to watch soppy romance films with him, so he was in the mood for some soppy romance himself. He'd been giddy about the entire thing all weekend, reading the letters over and over again until he had memorised every single word.

He had even shows the letters to his brother Tom, who didn't seem to be nearly as excited by them as Oli was.

"How do you know it's not someone messing with you." Tom had said. Oli frowned, rolling his eyes at the fact that Tom had completely missed the point of Oli showing him the letters.

"I don't know, Tom. Why would someone be?" Oli shrugged.

"I'm not saying it is, I just don't want you to get too attached and then get hurt." Tom said. Too late, Oli thought, he was already completely attached to this person.

Oli sighed at the memory of their conversation. Hearing Tom's words hurt. He didn't exactly want to be reminded that this person might be messing with him or might not be as the knight in shining armour he had built them up to be in his mind. For once in his life he wanted to the main character in the love story, not watching someone else's.

He opened his locker, internally cheering when he spotted a pastel pink envelope inside. He ripped open the pretty coloured paper, eager to read what was inside. Except this time there was no letter.

Inside the envelope was a CD.

Oliver picked up the CD carefully and examined it. It was shiny and holographic on one side and light blue on the other. Written in sharpie on the blue side were the words "for Oli". Oliver looked around him in the corridor, much like he did every-time he found a envelope in his locker.

He put the CD in his pocket before heading to lessons. His first class was English meaning the classroom was right around the corner from his locker. Great, the quicker he got there the more time he got to spend with his sexist, homophobic teacher. He rolled his eyes at the thought.

"Where are your trousers today Mr Sykes? Doesn't your sister want her skirts back?" The teacher bellowed as soon as he walked through the classroom door, laughing at his own stupid joke. Oli said nothing, instead walking over to his seat and getting his things out quietly.

Oli heard a few students in the class laugh quietly along with the teacher, his cheeks turning pink from embarrassment. He hated it when teachers made a big deal out of his clothing preferences, especially in front of the whole class.

"What's got your cheeks so red?" A low voice asked from besides him, making him flinch at the sudden sound. He looked up from the table to see Josh sat next to him, his head rested lazily on the palm of his right hand.

"Nothing, the teacher was just being a dick to me in front of the whole class." Oli muttered, rolling his eyes. Josh smirked as he leant in closer.

"I bet Mr Walker wishes he could pull off a skirt as well as you do." He all but whispered into Oli's ear, causing Oli to laugh loudly, much to Mr Walkers annoyance.

"You know next time you sleep round at my house, maybe you could sleep in my bed instead of Elissa's." Josh whispered again.

"Maybe next time I sleep round at yours, I'll remember to lock the door whilst I get changed so that you can't perve on me." Oli said back with a small smirk playing on his lips. Josh let out a breathily laugh.

"I wasn't perving on you." He snorted, causing the teacher to glare at the pair once again.

"Oh yeah, you were just standing there looking at me in my boxers. Not pervy at all." Oli sassed back.

"Well maybe-"

"Josh Franceschi, would you stop flirting with Oliver for just one second and pay attention." Mr Walker snapped angrily, his face going red from shouting. Josh held back a laugh at the sight. Oli grimaced at the use of his full name, he hated being called Oliver.

The rest of the lesson went by uneventfully, with many glares being sent back and forth between Mr Walker and Oli. When the bell went, Oli packed up his stuff as quickly as possible and practically ran out of the classroom.

He skipped his way to the dining hall and searched through the crowds of students until he found his group. He flopped down into one of the uncomfortable, plastic school chairs that was next to Elissa and put his arms around her neck.

"I see the queen himself has arrived." Elissa said, hugging Oli back. Oli smiled at her before kissing his best friend on the cheek.

"Damn right he has." He smiled back. From the corner of his eye he spotted Josh's group, all looking over at them from the table they always sat at. "Err, Elissa I think your brothers group are staring at you."

He saw Elissa look over her shoulder at where Oli was looking just moments before.

"Actually, Oli, I think they are looking at you." She shrugged. His eyes widened, suddenly aware of the amount of eyes looking at him from Josh's table.

Holy shit, were they all talking about him, he wondered. His cheeks flushed light pink at the thought.

Oli left the table in a rush after dinner that night, not even bothering to help Tom with the dishes like he normally did. He raced up the stairs and into his bedroom eagerly. He pulled his laptop onto his desk and turned it on. Whilst he waited for the machine to turn on, he rummaged through his backpack, carefully pulling out the pink envelope he had revived today.

His nerves went wild as he waited for the computer to finally load before pulling out the shiny disk and slotting it into the computer. His eyes went wide with surprise when he realised what was on the disk. It was a playlist.

He opened up iTunes, downloading the contents on the CD and waiting for all the songs to appear on his laptops screen one by one. He looked down the various songs, not recognising any of them.

1. Stupid for you - waterparks
2. Am I here? - fever 333
3. I'll always be around - waterparks
4. Heaven's gate - fall out boy
5. rainy days in la - adam&steve
6. Jamie all over - mayday parade
7. If I'm James Dean, you're Audrey Hepburn - sleeping with sirens
8. Kissing in cars - pierce the veil

He plugged in his headphones and listened to the songs his secret admirer had made into a playlist for him. He had never heard of any of the songs before, so he was quite surprised by how much he liked them all.

Another thing he realised whilst listening, was that they were all love songs. He blushed at the realisation. Someone had taken the time to make him a playlist of love songs, that must mean they like him right?

He smiled, using his laptop to transfer all the songs on to his phone. That night he laid in bed peacefully, headphones in, as the playlist played quietly through them. He listened to it again and again until he fell asleep, the lyrics still flowing through his ears.
