Weeks had past and everything was going pretty great for Josh and Oli. They had managed to keep their relationship under the radar, sneaking around to see each other whenever they could. Between classes they would sometimes walk past each other in the hallways and discreetly brush arms or grab each other's hands.

It was now Halloween. The air outside was crispy, as the leaves turned brown and orange. Inside, Oli was waiting by the door for Josh to finish getting ready. They were going to a Halloween party that almost the entire school year had been invited too at one of Josh's friends house.

It was perfect for them. Although everyone they knew would be there, they were both in consumes which made it pretty hard to identify who they actually were. This made it easy for them to spend the night together without anyone getting suspicious.

Oli was dressed up as Spider-Man, dressed in the classic superhero costume with a mask to top it all of. Josh was dressed as Darth Vader, equip with a lightsaber and everything.

Once Josh had gotten ready, the pair got a lift from Oli's mum to the party. Of course, she spent the entire ride rambling about how they needed to stick together and be careful. Neither boy really minded her lecture though, they were far too excited to care.

They got out the car and made their way to the house. It was fairly large, with spooky green and orange decorations everywhere and loud music coming through the walls into the streets. Josh grabbed Oli's hand as they made their way into the house that was already packed with people.

Everyone was wearing Halloween costumes ranging from zombies to vampires to blood stained doctors. Oli spotted his friendship group immediately, recognising their matching dead school girl outfits from across the room. They had been talking about it all week at the lunch table, how they were all going to come in matching skirts and knee high socks with braids in their hair. They had even tried to convince Oli to match with them, which he would have if not for the fact he told them he wasn't coming to this party.

They pushed their way through the crowds of hormonal teenagers until they made it to the kitchen. Hand in hand they poured themselves drinks before joining the commotion in the living room.

Oli began to get quite nervous as they pushed their way though the crowded living room. He suddenly felt claustrophobic and overwhelmed by everyone moving around him. The music was so loud he couldn't even hear Josh calling his name. He didn't even realise he had stopped walking and was now just stood there in the middle of the living room.

Josh shook his head, concerned by the way his boyfriend stood there unmoving in the crowded room. He understood why Oli was so overwhelmed, it was loud in here and there were so many people dancing and talking around them.

He did the only thing he could think of and grabbed Oli's hand, forcing the smaller boy to follow him as he dragged them both to the back garden. Josh didn't stop walking until they reached a part of the garden where no one was.

"Hey, are you alright?" He asked in concern.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." Oli said in a not so convincing voice. "Just felt a little claustrophobic I guess ha ha."

"It's okay." Josh shrugged.

"We can go back inside if you want?" Oli asked.

"Nah I'd rather be outside with you, alone, where I can do this-"

Josh cut off his own sentence by ripping the Spider-Man mask off his boyfriends face and kissing him softly. Oli's eyes widened in shock, he did not expect that.

Josh dropped the mask to the floor as he wrapped his arms around Oli's neck. Oli moved closer, putting his arms around Josh's torso.

Suddenly, a white flash went off, causing the two boys to jump apart from each other. They looked at each other in shock. The flash went off again.

"What the hell?" Josh exclaimed, coving his eyes with his arm to stop the flash from blinding him. It's almost like someone is taking pictures of us, he thought to himself.
