The last week had been awkward to say the least for the two boys. They had both been walking on egg shells around Elissa, making sure to avoid her at all costs. It was weird, how Oli had gone from being best friends with her to avoiding her like the plague just like that. She had clearly been avoiding them too.
In fact, neither of the boys had seen Elissa all week except for in class. She just seemed to ...vanish between classes and at lunchtimes. Even at home, Josh hardly saw her. It was strange both both boys could agree they would rather not see her at all then see her everyday just for them to argue with her.
The one day, Oli got a letter in his locker, the envelope was pastel pink which made him smile in nostalgia. He remembered the days when he use to open his locker every morning to a new pink envelope filled with cute little notes in scruffy handwriting.
He cautiously opened the letter... wondering what would be inside of it. A small piece of paper fell out.
To Oli,
Meet me at the park near my house at 7 tonight, from Elissa.
Oli frowned at the note, he was secretly hoping it would have been from Josh, not his sister. He was defiantly not expecting this. I guess he would just have to wait until seven to see what would happen.
